Long ago, back when I was someone else, I stated that the Democratic Party would do anything to stay in power, even to the point of destroying this nation.

And that is exactly what they are doing now.

Not only the democrats, but all the politicians in DC can read the handwriting on the wall. 31.7 trillion in debt is not sustainable and collapse is imminent.

The whole border issue at this time shows how little the Democrats in DC running the place care about the American citizens already living here. They should have finished that wall and stated that the only way anyone can get in is to apply and not come in till they were approved. Only a small percentage of the people applying for asylum are actually qualified to get asylum. They are mostly just coming to get into a country that will give them money to live without working for a while...being rewarded for telling a lie. Some of the ones that actually qualify for asylum are probably wanted for crimes in their country and this is their way to start afresh in a new country....afresh means they are not being looked for so they can start scamming and causing chaos here for a while.

Yes, there are some of these people that are actually legit, but I bet half of them are just conning their way into this country. once they are in the country they can disappear into the cities and then when their crimes are uncovered as to why they were being charged in the country of origin, it will be extremely hard to find these people. So then they take away our ability to defend ourselves by saying we cannot have guns and we are in trouble. Look at that guy in Texas who shot his neighbors. He was deported three times then came back in again and purchased guns. Now only citizens should have the right to bear arms, not illegal aliens.

We're in a Constitutional crisis.

The Constitution states that the federal government takes care of immigration, legal and illegal.

States do not have that authority. If they did, California or New York could legalize every illegal coming in.

So what to do if the federal government won't and the state government can't

Kari Lake knows the answer to that.

States do have the power to declare an invasion, and deal with it themselves.

One of her campaign promises was to do just that.. which is almost certainly one of the main reasons they went to such lengths

The disaster will come on top of the Biden administration's currently disastrous border policy. In fiscal year 2022, the period from Oct. 1, 2021 to Sept. 30, 2022, Border Patrol agents encountered a record number of migrants crossing illegally into the United States -- 2,378,944.

Add onto that the estimated 600,000 illegal crossers who got away without any contact with the Border Patrol, and that means close to 3 million border crossers in a single year. The two months since the beginning of the new fiscal year have seen crossings at an even higher rate. And that is before the Title 42 change.
