Sounds like he's confirming there will be cuts to CBP.
It'll be a total societal collapse.
The anti-American left has finally destroyed our country.

Does it do anything about the millions they've earmarked to be cut from border security in their budget. I believe I read that their budget would cut around 2500 agents.

Scott can say he talked to whoever he wants. That doesn't make it true. And even if he is actually telling the truth, I don't see anywhere where they say that cutting 10% of agents will make their job easier.
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Last week, Senator Rick Scott visited the United States’ southern border with Mexico near Del Rio, Texas. Senator Scott received a briefing from state and federal law enforcement officers, including U.S. Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Air & Marine Operations and the Texas Department of Public Safety, on the massive national security and humanitarian crisis along the southern border being fueled by President Biden’s disastrous policies of amnesty and open borders. He also participated in an aerial tour with CBP of the Del Rio sector. Due to Biden’s open-border policies and refusal to uphold our laws, Title 42 is one of our last defenses at the border. Unfortunately, President Biden is allowing it to expire in the middle of this crisis. Senator Scott is a member of the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, which has oversight of the Department of Homeland Security and federal border security policy.
In her first five months in office, Vice President Kamala Harris has learned at least one important lesson about immigration: You can run to the border, but you can’t run from the border.
That’s because sooner or later the border will find you. That’s especially true when you’re a U.S. elected official in 2021, whether you’re pandering to white nativists who want to keep out Central American refugees, or Latino activists who want to let more of them in.
This week, the border found Harris. The California Democrat — who never showed much interest in immigration while representing a border state in the U.S. Senate — finally made it to the U.S.-Mexico border. Harris paid a quick visit to a U.S. Customs Border Patrol central processing facility in El Paso, Texas. There, she received a briefing from officials with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Later, the Vice President met with immigrant advocates to hear their concerns before leaving “el chuco.”

The law is simply reverting back to the pre-Pandemic status quo. You guys seem to think Trump did fine with border security under the same situation.
