Why Aren't The Jewish Religious texts edited to remove Racist and hate passages?

Judaism needs URGENT reform. Otherwise children of Abraham will consign the whole world to fire.

All people must understand that all 'humans' are created by God, including the blacks and the tribals. There can be no special human in the eyes of God.

Do other books, like Mark Twain's "Huckleberry Finn", set you off also? Are there any other books you'd like censored to remove text that you don't agree with?

I am not sure if you are Trolling or just trying to provoke an emotional response.
A religious text is not an everyday book such as Huckleberry Finn
It can influence profoundly a persons belief system , and is considered from God.
We cannot on one hand have anti racial vilification laws, and then on the other have a book purpoted to be inspired if not written by God , condemming 98% of humanity for not having the correct lineage or blood.

Or is that just too logical and earnest for some?

So obviously I believe the crux of Gods message was added to and twisted to satisfy the PTB at the time of editing.
For example ...hard to reconcile all humanity as being Gods children , when slaves were everywhere back then ?

No better to preach and espouse the uniqueness of those who had slaves, lest some may have took pity on those who were living the lives of animals.

Imagine a new religion today where the tenets ...state Chinese are to be used a s slaves.

Obviously, God created all peoples. So, why did he chose the jews, and for what particular purpose did he select them?

Not at all. Some peoples are chosen to be the warriors. Other peoples are chosen to be the builders. Yet, other peoples are chosen to be the rulers. etc..none of these things are the jews particularly good at.

Remember the Torah, the story of the Exodus. Never forget it was written by the jews. Sort of the winning side of the story. And basicly the only side we have been allowed to know about.

Right. What did God chose the egyptians and the Pharoahs for? They were the builders and rulers. The jews wrote the stories down.

Then, he sends the jews out once again, in the next cycle, to repeat the gathering of knowledge, the distillation of wisdom, and the recording of these things in texts.


That's all God chose the Jews for. They are just the SCRIBES.

The rest of mankind gets to do the exciting stuff.

However, since these scribes like to write, of course, they dominate the newspapers, and the journalism positions, and the movie scripts, and the trade paperback books, etc..so we hear an awful lot about this tiny segment of humanity every day, BECAUSE THEY ARE WRITING IT.

That should have been a big clue to everybody, what God chose the Jews to do !

Those who drafted and implemented the Race hate laws we now live under, this would be logical and fair.
According to strict guidelenes of course.

I haven't read this entire thread, but I believe you have confused this incident with another faith healing by Jesus.

The woman that stated "Even dogs eat the crumbs from the Master's table" wanted her daughter healed.

The woman that touched his cloak had "an issue of blood" for twelve years. She believed by only touching his cloak, she could be healed.

“Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the edge of His cloak. She said to herself, ‘If I only touch His cloak, I will be healed.’ Jesus turned and saw her, ‘Take heart, daughter,’ He said, ‘your faith has healed you.’ And the woman was healed from that moment” (MAT 9:20-22).

Nobody is 'chosen' by God. This whole concept is a SIN.

The concept of a human God is a sin. God cannot be human. It is not possible. God cannot treat any of His creations differently, and His creations include animals and plants, planets, stars, and space.

Humans live on planet created by God, due to God's kindness. God has asked man to live in harmony with other man, and with nature. There is no exception to God's rule.

I was expecting that the OP would list down all the so called racial phrases for us to analyse..

For one thing, no one ever bothers with the whole exegesis. Just the "offending" portion.

Second, they are only interpretations of what Torah says.

Lastly, Most people who make these claims know little of the scriptures being discussed.

The same right as has had them and their string pullers enable anti Racist/hate laws.
