About the same amount as there would be if liberalism were to die the same unmourned death.

Seems to me, if we want to change things, and for the better, both should be, if not eradicated, certainly curtailed.

That, by itself, would appeal to a wide swath of American voters who are tired of the same status quo.

Well, when we talk about compromise ... it means both sides have to give, not just one or the other. No one seems to understand that.

And when we talk about liberty, it doesn't mean just "I" get to do whatever I want. It means we all do to a certain extent, but often, it means that people have discovered this wonderful took called "government" that they can use to bludgeon everyone else to do it their way and they call that "freedom" because for them, it is.

Not if I see you first.

You can blame me and my side all you want... we've been the meek and the mild for far too long. Aside from a few major outbursts that scared the pants off you guys we've always been the ones to cede ground, to compromise. No more. You guys compromise.

I am eagerly awaiting the debates! I admit my skin crawls at the idea of Hilary or Jeb taking office, but I am on the fence and seeking who would be best for all of America. Sigh. I love the idea of a champion for 'we the people' so Bernie has caught my attention, BUT I am intelligent enough to know that in this day and age, America is far more than just we the people, we are committed globally whether we the people like it or not...in the long run, it sucks, but it is necessary! I am not sure yet if Bernie can comprehend this aspect of America!

Alas, so far, none of the candidates seem to represent the comprehension that it cannot be a president seat divided, the president has to represent all of America. I know...I can be a dreamer and hope for a candidate who may not meet all my personal expectations, but would love for one standout who would bring unity, even if it is 50/50. Bush, Clinton, and yes, even Trump, leave me rolling my eyes heavenward for their single % factor of American citizen unification rhetoric! Bernie has ignited my attention, but I am not burning.

This country functions best when no one is too predominate. You've been pushing, pushing, pushing now and pushing hard ever since before Obama was elected. At some point this causes backlash. The thought of what that will be and where it might go is beginning to frighten me. There is only so far right even I want to go.

And you guys don't see it. How much Obama has compromised, how much closer he is to your side than mine. This is why, exactly why we're done compromising.

Why are you preaching about unity and compromise when your side made it publicly clear there would be no compromise with Obama from day one even if it hurt our nation?

Because I saw how broken a country can look after a president with 52% of the vote gets in.

Bush had about the same.

And it has hurt the country.

I'm interested in trying to fix that.

We need a leader that will unite 80 to 90 percent of the country.

Not divide it in half.

Again.

How about 7 pages worth?

Oh yes, those were HUGE issues....

"invest in electronic health Info systems"

"Fully fund the Combating Autism Act and Federal Autism Research Initiatives"

really there needed to be "compromise" on stuff like this?

Weaksauce

So because he didn't turn the US into an authoritarian police-state,, you consider that a compromise?

If youre speaking about conservatives you should probably look at the diversity of the candidates that are running who are in the GOP.....

Pretty much blows that bs rhetoric you just spewed out of the water

So you don't care about the country, just your party and what benefits you.

Okay

I'll take that as a "no" also.
