Praise be to the party of unity, unless your LGBT, Or Black, or Latino, or a Woman, or Muslim, Native American, heaven forbid if your a socialist or even worst a communist.

edit to add: Poor, Persian, Iranian, Cuban, Russian, Greek....Unity but, all need not apply right?

What, pray tell, are Marco Rubio, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal, Ben Carson ....

They must officially have been stripped of gender and ethnicity.

Actually Rubio is.

But, of course, I'm not sure what Hillary or Bernie have to do with this since they aren't GOP, and your contention was the GOP has no diversity.

That's not going to help you after the nominations.

And this is how it will continue.

Politicians just appealing to enough of the country to get enough votes to win.

51%

Woo-hoo!

Oh, c'mon! Clearly your linebacking core is weak and your secondary is full of holes. The offense is the strongest it's been in years even though all the wide receivers are young but the QB has experience and we have depth in all areas and ...

Oh, pardon me, it sounded like we were comparing sports teams there for a second.

My bad How could I have been so mistaken to think the republicans are not the party of unity and for all the people.

Bernie is representing the 99% of Americans that are struggling to get buy, who are the republicans representing?

Ummm, what about those of us who DO NOT want him representing us? Did I ask to be represented by a socialist? I think not. No one who wants to take 90% of my income represents me.

First off, I'm not representing republicans.

Second, Bernie may think he represents 99% of Americans, but his message doesn't appeal to 99% of Americans.

We need to look at this as how we can appeal to 99% of Americans.

But, it seems that the hate is too strong here. Perhaps my bringing it up was a failure.

I'll just go back to my side and bash your ideology while you bash mine.

It's not, "haters gonna hate".

It's "haters wanna hate".

Let's be honest Beezzer. Let's pretend for a moment that you and I are the embodiment of the entire voter base. There is zero we could compromise on. That is where we are as a nation. It's time for a divorce.

That is why States Rights are so important and useful. Libs move to one state, Cons move to a different State.

One Ring to Rule them All is a bear trap. There should be no national government.

I get what you're saying. I just want to be left alone to live my life and make a living for my family. It's getting increasingly hard to do that.

I've said that from the start.

Didn't you get that? But if a partisan asshole like myself can see that getting 51% of the vote just splits the country, then maybe we should start thinking outside our wee little partisan shells.

"We" aren't running.

"We" need to find someone on the left (Bernie) and someone on the right ( ? ) who could unite this country.

MY compromise? I'd vote for Sanders. I've yet to say a single bad thing about him. I disagree with much of his platform, but he is honest and he has integrity. Even if I don't agree with him, I can admire him and I will support him.

Now is there a single other candidate that you could say the same of?

Unfortunately Beez, it has almost come to that point. You and I disagree on most things, but do recall a time or two that we have agreed on a point. I would be willing to sit at a beer summit with you, and honestly see if we could come up with any common sense ideas that we agreed on. If that makes me a brave lib, so be it, I think it just makes me someone that doesn't hear the word compromise as a four letter word.
