NO...CONGRATS TO YOU!!! Your freedom to defend a useless war has helped break our economy, destroy the lives of Americans who can no longer afford their homes, and systematically strip us of our freedoms. YOU SIR, ARE DOING A BANG UP JOB KEEPING AMERICA SAFE FOR FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY!!!
You really are all varieties of insane, aren't you? Could you point out where I defended any war?
I await your response.

Listening to you go on im under the impression you think the US government and CIA filled a plane with undercover agents that grabbed this innocent 23 year old and lit his crotch on fire and flasely accused him of being a terrorist just so they could start a war in Yemen. If not explain what you think about the current events on flight 253 from the 25 and 27 of Dec. 2009 and just leave the rest of the posters on this thread out of your answer.

Do you not realize the 23 yearold who set himself on fire on the plane is the one who said he was a terrorist. And its came out the guys own father tried to turn his son in for being a terrorist befor anybody even knew who he was. The US government if anything ignored the warnings and figured the guy wasn't a terrorist but just some miss guided youth.

HMMM...insanity must be relative because I was thinking the same about you.
Well, lets see here...if you're saying that JJAy is right and that we should focus on THE ISLAMIC THREAT as opposed to dealing with our own, then you MUST be in defense of our tactics of stamping it out. Or maybe my ability to read between the lines is somehow blurred.
So tell me. If you think that the THOUSANDS of supposed threats are real (and it was quite apparent with your response)....then what is your alternative for stopping it???

You seem to have difficulty with rational thought and so I am questioning whether it is even worth the time it takes to answer you. You do enjoy jumping to conclusions. though, this is clear. It is also fairly evident that you don't require any actual evidence before jumping.
So, let's try to help you understand. I never suggested I supported any war (and given your incoherence you could be referring to the War of 1812) nor have I written that I agree with JJ.
Next stop, baseless conclusion. Please watch your step disembarking.
My only point was that the Islamic Extremist terror threat is real. To suggest otherwise is to reveal oneself as a supreme simpleton. Does our govt use this threat to invoke to further an agenda? Absolutely. That fact doesn't change the reality of the threat.
It is important that we all understand the end game here. It is critically important to understand the concept of Caliphate and how it drives the hatred that leads to the murder of innocent civilians. The fact that our government's foreign policy, at times, provides Islamic Extremists with juicy recruitment tools should not obscure the fact that whether we had troops in the Middle East or not, the ultimate outcome of this terrorist threat would be the same.
Please educate yourself. Or at the very least, stop being so insistent on proving your lack of knowledge.
Details are slim. Speculation reigns, even in update.
DD suspects it will literally boil down to the inability of al Qaeda or people inspired by them to get enough materials onto a flight.

Do you think I'm not aware that there is an Islamic threat by tiny factions within the world??? Yes I am. I am also aware that terrorism is not limited to the Islamic faith. However, JJAY was making it sound far worse, and spreading more fear than necessary. JJay even went as far as saying that even your neighbor should be watched because inside their minds may be lurking the undeniable threat of terrorism. THAT"s an extremely dangerous statement. Maybe you should have read all previous posts before posting within a conversation in which YOU STARTED OFF WITH AN ATTACK. You claimed I was spreading ignorance and gave me a congrats for it. Well, until you've looked at all the previous conversations, you're kind've sitting in the middle of a fight that you weren't intended to see.
That being said, I understand your statement, but, it was not at all in context of the argument that was being carried on between JJAY and I.

Authorities say they've detained two men thought to have been acting suspicious aboard a flight bound for Phoenix.
A Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman says passengers aboard U.S. Airways Flight 192 from Orlando, Fla. Saturday night reported that two men were acting strangely.
While Mutallab was poorly dressed, his friend was dressed in an expensive suit, Haskell said. He says the suited man asked ticket agents whether Mutallab could board without a passport. “The guy said, 'He's from Sudan and we do this all the time.'”
