Sarah Palin rests her arm on the American flag! I'm calling for a formal apology.

I think its pretty clear Palin loves this country and the flag. So, we are going to compare this to a constant refusal by the Commander in Chief refusing to salute the flag? Really?

www.youtube.com...

AND it just happened again the other day.

We don't need you to rip Palin because she loves America. We have every news outlet BUT FOX.

Am I the only one who fails to see ANY violations of that flag code posted earlier? Because I'd love for someone to point it out to me, because I can't see anything. It's not touching the floor or anything

I use my flag as a napkin. I have one in my kitchen and one in my bedroom, throw it in the washer every once in awhile, works great. It doesn't get all the stains out though but not a big deal really.

She hasn't wiped her ass on it or stamped her feet on it, or set it alight shouting jihad.... so what's the problem?!!! Palin is a simpleton country girl who would probably make a disastrous president, but Obama hasn't exactly shown how to do the job very well - with all of his educational skills, Obama has achieved nothing and his time in office is spent campaigning for the job he already has!

What a tragedy - she is leaning on your flag!

stop being such a cry baby. America has turned into this little 5yr old girl crying about every little unimportant thing. I do not feel offended by this and i served in the military...

it's not a big deal.

Was anyone outraged about Bill Ayers, close friend and partner in crime of Obama, was photographed STANDINgon the American flag,on the front page of Chicago magazine?

It was from the home of this unrepentant terrorist that Obama launched his political campaign.

Not at all. It just means you don't have a lot of respect for the icon of America. No big deal.

But, you're not a public figure running for office. (Currently, Palin isn't either, but there's rumor floating around about future endeavors)

She's a politician and she should know better.

There are laws written about desecration of our flag. There are commonly held rules (not laws) that apply to handling the flag.

If you're Average Joe and put the flag on the back of a chair. Whoopty-Doo. No big deal. As long as you're not throwing it down to wipe your feet on.

But, if you're a politician, whose a public figure, ESPECIALLY if you're on a PHOTO SHOOT, you should have more common sense than this. But, then again ... it's Sarah Palin we're talking about ... so, it really doesn't surprise me.

Maybe you are being blindly patriotic.

And if you think I'm wrong, ask yourself if other countries think the US to be a heroic nation or a nation that spreads capitalism by conquering all those that are against it...

I think the powers that be would be glad of your blind patriotism.

Can we please just stop allowing this woman to be relevant? There is no need to be discussing Sara Palin, or to be watching her on television.

Oh-She's hot!! Are you Muslim? Gay? Disinformation specialist? I was just wondering because her obvious passion for America seems all most desperate; as though she realizes something is wrong that desperately needs fixed, so she, knowing that she is, "prO" the well-being of the American people does what she can to be recognized.

Why not while fools elect non citizen, terrorist associating Muslims that show an obvious disdain for us infidels. [SNIP] all you insecure woman hating Muslims.. They have medicine that will enlarge your penis. Maybe then you won't be so insecure about your manhood.

Maybe she has a kid with down syndrome that she wishes to preserve against the Muslim, "Empire".. Yep. Please red list me..

No consequencE..

Thank you.

What opinion does the MSM give of Palin - do they make her look good, or make her look bad?

Does your opinion agree with the MSM?

In other words - is your opinion of Palin simply given to you by the MSM?

If so - then you are simply mind controlled fools and nothing more.

Give me a break, if it was anyone else i doubt you would be whining like that. With all the things that people do to disrespect the flag, OMG her arm as made contact with the flag! Do you even realize how stupid that even sounds? I demand that you apologize for trying to infringe on freedom of speech.

Dude, I thought the same you said, but then I saw the picture. It is pretty awful.

I mean, it's not like, the end of the world or anything, and I am sure that she did not mean to be disrespectful, but you'd think SOMEONE would know that there are some rules on how the flag has to be displayed, and wrinkled on a chair with somebody leaning on it, is probably not how it should be displayed.

So if anything, it is a display of ignorance, not only from her, but also from the person behind the camera, and the person in charge of PR, and so on. I mean, you would think that at least somebody would have brought it up.

it's to get a rise out of people and has no place here...

it waste time. and space.

and in my eye is a cheap attempt for attention/stars/attention/flags/attention/replies/attention/attention.

Just like 99% of the OPs about our President.

Yes, I laughed about this OP and don't take it seriously...alas, if only the Pres. Obama detractors on ATS would do the same.

My opinion of this woman is that she was obviously unqualified to serve as Vice president of the United States, yet gained support for appealing to the values of the far right (Abstinance-only education and a pregnant teenage daughter). She still wants attention, so she wrote a book and is doing a talk show tour. I'm still trying to figure out why anyone cares about her anymore. File her with Brittany and MJ (AKA not really the news, but people still flock to it) & forget about her.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words

But i wonder what kind of picture 'they' would paint about the words you just spewed forth in your post

Talk about narrow minded, in the dark thinking.

There is no reason to watch television full stop - why would you watch TV? So you can learn how to be a good slave? So you can learn who you are supposed to hate, so you properly support the next war?

I don't know much about Palin - but I know if the TV hates her - thats a good reason to support her.

The TV told people to hate the Vietnamese, to hate the North Koreans, to hate the Iraqi's - just watch the TV god to learn who to hate next - so you can run off and die in some stupid war for profit - not your profit mind you.

Watch TV to learn how to respect authority - work hard - pay your bills - spend your money - get in debt - learn not to think - cheer for people you don't even know - elect some puppet they tell you is good - take your medicine - buy crap you don't need.

Yeah - watch TV - become a good corporate slave - work till your broken - then die in a swift and orderly manner spending all of your last preserved dollars on pharma.

The life of a robot - its the American way.
