Report that suspect is running in or by an airport.

Is this the same guy at the runway?

IS THERE ANY UPDATE ON THIS? TY

That report seems to keep reoccurring.

I agree, there was no chase. The news chopper was the first on the scene, and there was 1 cop car and the SUV, and the guy was already shot dead bleeding out in the street, and SUV shot up.
We heard bits of the chase live on the police scanner as an officer in pursuit reported in. Very agitated voice, could hear shots going off.

Does anybody know of footage of the chase of the SUV? I can't find anything other than the Bearcats on scene and poking the dead subject. Everything I'm finding is just "updates"

i'm not sure there is any video of the chase, i was in the kitchen when they broke to the scene, and the shoot out was done.
then they started pulling up the bearcats.

Ya same here, first I saw of the SUV is what you are describing, and was watching for I think a good 20 min before that.

I don't know if this is relevant to this situation or not, but management pissed off a lot of people -- employees and clients. An audit of these regional centers singled out Inland Regional Center as especially egregious:

Audit of regional centers finds nepotism, fear of retaliation

Read the comments after this article:

Trouble at Developmental Services

This article is from August of 2010, folks were still leaving negative comments in 2014. I can't find anything more recent to say if anything has improved or gotten worse.

That's interesting. But it was rented out for a party/event so it might not be connected.

LA Times just posted "that video" with the tag line "police storm inland regional center after reports of active shooter."

So...yea.

Police used apparently illegal wiretaps to make hundreds of arrests

Gotcha, thanks. I thought I had seen a comment or two about the firefight but it may have been after the shooting had stopped, now that I think on it.

There is nothing on the SBPD twitter about this, maybe this is bogus. Which is probably why the site doesn't link or show the tweet. Maybe an edit in order, unless you don't mind the misinfo.

I'm hearing the name Farooq Saeed(sp?).

FNC saying the name is a common name, and should not speculate.

The original Twitter source for Tayyeep Bin Ardogan comes from someone who claims it came from SB Police on the scanner...

No one else heard that so I'm assuming it's more Twitter bull#.

Must be a joke. That's the president of Turkey's name, just spelled differently.
