Some of the original Greek texts only speak to Jesus being nailed to a tree, and that meaning hands overhead.
So, it dismisses the breathing issues.
Many of the NT sources stem from Greek language origin.

Well, wasn't he supposed to die for our sins? If God let him live our sins would have stayed alot longer...
I guess??

Actually i recently saw a documentary that stated... "even if his arms were over his head, breathing would have been even harder"

What the flying F Akragon???
You spent the time to watch an entire documentary and I gave you a 1 minute practical example you could have tried in the confines of your own room.
Astounding. Utterly and unequivocally astounding.

I don't know. How was the original version? Did the translation went wrong??
Arms stretched out to the side have the same effect... to a healthy person...

Makes sense to me.
So the cross could be refered to as a ''tree''...

The shoulder sockets were pulled out of joint. They nailed one hand or wrist down, tied a rope around that nailed hand or wrist to the crossbeam, then a couple men wrapped a rope around the wrist of the other arm and pulled the arms out of their sockets. If you remember my practical example I said not to spread your arms out to the side, I said to spread them out as far as you possibly could, having the shoulder out of socket would be even more strenuous.
It pays to read friend.
Oh, and by the way, that's another fulfilled prophecy from the crucifixion from the OT. (Psalm 22)

This still could have been accomplished with his arms over head.... Consider "the rack" and its purpose...
I read everything my friend... doesn't mean i have to agree though
Technically... it was a POLE... made from a tree...
