First of all, my username has very special significance to me and is not based on paganism for me.

Secondly, you demostrated that you skip through others' posts without truly reading them. I do not hate or dislike homosexuals. To me they are no different than anyone else. We are all GOD's children. And we are all sinners.

I have taught my children to be accepting of others' beliefs and orientations whether they believe in them or not. I have also spoken candidly with my children regarding homosexuality. My children know that I love them unconditionally and that it would not matter if they were homosexuals or not. I would not see them any differently or treat them any differently.

My daughter has a friend that sleeps around with males and females. My daughter told me that the girl has no self confidence and is desperate for attention. Her friend is not a lesbian, she just thinks that she can attract more boys that way. My daughter knows that is wrong. Without me saying that it is.

Thank you for the filling in, I was going on less information than needed. I doubt this would have become much of a thread if those details were mentioned in the OP!

Twenty minute lectures in a shopping mall is quite a bit different, especially with how worked up some people get over hearing the Word spoken - the animosity is understandable, and in olden days people might have wanted to flog them, or drive them from town. Getting thrown into prison isn't much better though. It depends on the willingness of the crowd and therefore location.

blathering I believe is the technical term. Or drunken rambling. Either fits I think Jay.

If people would stop looking at each other as the enemy and realize that we are all HUMAN, gay, straight, trans. or whatever. Just because a book tells you that having a same sex partner is a sin, doesn't mean that it is right or just. Yes, they SAY we have freedom of speech, they say we have the right to do a lot of things...that doesn't mean you go and temp the system.

If more people would do the research on religion and see that it has been rewrote and rewrote with the changing times (I could continue on but I won't). Hate among people and separation is never going to stop as long as religion stays in the mainstream. And that is the way "they" want it, they don't want us to come together and say ENOUGH! Think about it...if religion had never been taught (the way it has been interpreted from ANCIENT--sumerian and many more) writings, everyone would be on the same page, think along the same lines. There would be no basis for us look at someone else and judge them or preach against them for what they are.

I am not saying that religion is the root of all evil, but its pretty close. Free you minds and look at your fellow man truly as your equal.

I was expressing the fact of why I have a problem with the extensive glorifying of homosexuality in the media. That was my post from the beginning, the point that I was trying to make.

I am entitled to my beliefs. I am not out on the corner screaming derogatory remarks about anyone. For me, homosexuality is a sin. No worse than telling a lie but still a sin. I am not alone in this belief. I have faith and conviction to base this on.

I realize that alot of things in the Bible cannot be proven, but I don't care. That is what faith is all about. I know what I feel in my heart to be true based on many experiences in my life and even every day things.

You make it sound like all Christians hate anyone that is different. A true Christian does not. True Christians do not judge others. I do not judge people for what they do in their bedrooms. But just as some do not want Christianity "shoved down their throats", I do not want your beliefs shoved down mine! I do not force my beliefs on my children either. I have taught them about my beliefs based on Christianity, but I also have not forced them to go to church or told them that the only way is my way. They make their own decisions on their beliefs.

I am sorry if you have had bad experiences with some Christians but do not judge us all for the actions of some zealots.

I love how someone can bash Christianity on here but if you say anything over the top negative towards any other religion, race, or sexual orientation then posts get removed and users get "warned". It seems like a serious amount of reverse discrimination is going on in this forum!

There are many homosexual Christians in this world you know.

No. The only reason posts get banned from here is when someone calls another a name. When and where has anyone called you a name? Think about it. Already in this thread, we have been called.... limp wristed, fags, social degenerates, etc. When you start getting this much flack, let me know. Until then quit crying the blues. Because we are soooooooooooo sick of it. Christian whiners (feel good being called names?).

Really? Try getting beat up every two years or so because of who you are. Does that happen to Christians?

So, like you I say. Quit your godamn whining about it then.

I have every right to say that Christianity is a sin, a farse, a total stupid thing to believe in.

Just as much as you have every right to say that being gay is a sin.

But, read my sig for what God thinks of whores also.

I just hope your wife was a virgin when she married you. If not, it is your obligation to kill her.

Aint Christianity grand?

The UK is essential the zionist capital of Europe. The jews are busy worldwide spreading political correctness and conformity. You will note that the jewmedia in the states are now constantly dropping hints that we must follow england's lead (the latest was for more surveillance cameras) which is no accident. I am fairly expert in jewmedia terror tactics and have a keen ear for lies and new sound bytes.

Look at what these imperialist gets have in store for us. Brown has proposed a 'world constitution', as to undo, ON PAPER, the terrible fight we had in breaking away from European jewry when we established this Republic. This is among the slimiest of jew stunts to have emerged since the euro-which failed miserably.

Hatespeech is straight out of Orwell, another jew enslavement trick. I mean, once you have even glimpsed what is God, you know that even making a healthy poo is sinful, because there is no way but down most of the time, once enlightened. However, the zionists who control the closets of pols, know that by forcing these restrictions, step by step, on freedom, which is God ordained, that they can succeed in forcing everyone to label themselves as something as a means to call on THEM for protection, not on God, or on self-preservation instinct. It's difficult to ponder the jew mind, but one has to know them in order to properly diagnose the current events.

As for the preacher ragging about gaze...I couldn't care less about it. I have yet to hear a preacher I agree with. It is like having Howard Stern tell you about sex. 'God' is something too beautiful to have it poured in my ears as such. They focus on crap like this and never see God. I say again..we all sin, period. Those who have had bursts of enlightenment are acutely aware of when they are slipping. Those who never heard God are typically hardened against the concept, and a life of meaninglessness becomes the norm. Sure, it can be dolled up with glitz and riches, whores etc... all that you can eat.

But you can't take it with you, and it is no accident that the wealthiest of men do put off, until their last breath, accounting for the trades they made to gain wealth.

Sorry for drifting. The preacher is being used as a tool for nwo domination, led by jews.

I am sorry...but isn't this a little hypocritical? You tell your children that being gay is a sin but then tell them you would continue to love them and support them if they were gay . Being gay in most religions is an automatic trip to hell. So, if one day, one of your children do actually end up being gay, are they exempt from hell? Or does that only pertain to other peoples children that are gay?

And regarding to the girl that sleeps with both sexes...it doesn't take a genius to figure out that this girl may have been abused at some point...not saying she has been...just an educated guess. Instead of judging this girl and writing about her on some blog...get to know her...know her story, give her some guidance in figuring out who she is as a person. The road that she is heading down is a dead end one, not mention a dangerous one.

I was expressing the fact of why I have a problem with the extensive glorifying of homosexuality in the media. That was my post from the beginning, the point that I was trying to make.

Idiotic - extensive glorification - because the str8 way of life is not glorified at all is it pornography, virtually every film has some form of sexual contact in it between a man and a woman and has done for years. Sex sells is a phrase that is paramount to advertising. The list goes on and your view of on this is rather pathetic and to think that you sat there and typed it and expected no rebuke would be an indication of your limited field of view

I am entitled to my beliefs. I am not out on the corner screaming derogatory remarks about anyone. For me, homosexuality is a sin. No worse than telling a lie but still a sin. I am not alone in this belief. I have faith and conviction to base this on.

Faith is not fact it is a belief no more. And you can silently enjoy your faith. Commenting here is not a show of your belief it is you defending your belief. Again idiotic because you are using something that is neither provable by you nor provable by scholars (thats people who do count), to prove how right you are to feel that it is a sin. Sorry but I think your an idiot because I have faith that you are. However that does not make it so. Faith is a self imposed belief system of whatever origin. Homosexuality is a circumstance. Like having black hair and blue eyes. Nothing you can do about it. "oh but you choose to act on the fact that you are gay" I hear you cry. You chose to breed, and whilst I dont agree with that particular decision I dont say it was a sin because I feel all idiots should be sterilised. I dont care as long as that decision does not impact on my way of life. The minute you piped up with you think it was a sin and you dont agree with it, what the hell has it got to do with you as long as it does not impact on you. I will never meet you, thank my god, so keep your opinions to yourself unless you want opinions back especially when the content of them IMPACTS on others. Like yours did on me.

I realize that alot of things in the Bible cannot be proven, but I don't care. That is what faith is all about. I know what I feel in my heart to be true based on many experiences in my life and even every day things.

Now that is more like it - you have every right to a faith and i would defend your right to that.

Erm what about your daughters friend. You judged her based on gossip from your daughter. And that was a hilarious example given the fact that you even said, she isnt gay. So she being straight then decides to experiment with another girl, LOL what TF. Sounds like A straight person is apparently being sinful there

I am sorry if you have had bad experiences with some Christians but do not judge us all for the actions of some zealots.

I havent and wont. One of my best friends is a vicar. He has read your post and is quite sad for you. There is a tic in the box for you. Well done.

As for bashing Christians, I think you are missing the point. The point is not their faith. Its what they do in the name of their faith.
