That means nothing.
We are not talking about Bush.
This is why people who are political sheep are truly sad. When Bush was in office I went after Bush for a lot of things. I didn't like his big borrowing and spending and his decision to go to Iraq.
With that said, this has nothing to do with Bush.
So Democrat sycophants, stop bringing up Bush when you can't defend Obama.

I will also add you guys are so goddamn racist if you think that bowing a sign of weakness. By that logic, doesn't that mean you find asian countries weak?
and if you say yes, you know nothing about our financial situation.
Bowing is a sign of respect, any American who takes 5 minutes to study other cultures would know that.
/oh and we owe china billions. I'd be doing ten kinds of bowing to whomever I owed that much money to.
edit: because this thread actually got this bad

I would like to nominate this thread as the most pointless thread of 2010. Seriously this is the topic. Why is Obama bowing? Grow up, read a book and learn what it means to be culturally aware. Why would shaking his had be a sign of respect for the Chinese leader...that is not their custom.
You treat people with the respect and customs that THEY expect. I'm sure a handshake also took place at some point.
I do not pray but when in company of others who do, I bow my head out of respect. This does not mean that I am weak it means that I am respectful of others.
Seriously if you do not like Obama, fine. Go look for some real issues to cover. Why not talk about him not ending the wars in the ME? Why not mention the fact that he is still operating with the patriot act? Why not look at and criticize a policy issue that actually matters.

he does NOT bow to ANYONE. That puts out a very clear message of being a
weakling President, no matter how you slice it.

Humbleness is a virtue, and bowing a chinese traditional greeting.
“The bow as he performed did not just display weakness in Red State terms, but evoked weakness in Japanese terms….The last thing the Japanese want or need is a weak looking American president and, again, in all ways, he unintentionally played that part.
