I'm sure that is why Iran has the biggest Jewish minority living in Iran, because they hate the Jews.

Iran Myth #7349.

The current regime has an abominable record of financing acts of vandalism and terrorism against Jews as far away as Argentina. They also actively support Neo-Nazi organizations and Holocaust deniers.

The vast majority of Jews left Iran after the Islamic Revolution. From a peak Jewish population of 150,000 the numbers are down to about 20,000. Many are just too old or too sick to leave.

Many once wealthy families are sending their children abroad to take roots elsewhere. Also abandoning Iran en masse in the last decade are the educated and intellectual class, the entrepreneurial, the business class.

I know researching how the holocaust happened and having an opinion is a crime. As for the rest of your quote it's off topic and not part of this subject, so you are just adding up to make it look better.

The biggest minority in Iran are the jews it's just a fact no matter how you spin it. As for.. many are just too old please bring statistics and a credible source.
As for the numbers droping it's a global event, the population in europe also is going low, it's just people everywhere in general these days, they don't have alot of kids.

On the contrary there have been articles in the news where it talks about jews in Iran and that jews from Iran did not want to leave in the first place.

To make it more intresting for you.
Iranian jews tell it like it is.

All I see in that picture are 15 year old kids, where are the old people?

But wait it gets even better.

Heh. Yeah a Jewish, American educated gynocologist Dr Rafi is a great spokesman for the situation. That's brilliant.

If Iran doesn't comply with the world's collective order to cease nuclear development then there will be consequences. Very simple.

Who is this colective world order for you?
I don't see China or Russia rushing in to being in the colective or other nations as well. So the world colective is just a part of the world but not all? I would guess that this colective that you speak of is not the voice of all and that people have different opinions and there is no colective that thinks the same in reallity that would represent the voices of all, just a group of people with intrests that pick sides.

Nice. Any Jew will qualify, eh?
China and Russia are the West and non-muslim if you hadn't noticed.
Again, many people can't distinguish between populations and individuals and the governing bodies who make decisions and are in control. Then posts turn into the typical name calling nonsense.

It's not worth debating people who think they can Google up a quote and that stands as information.

Holocaust deniers make race hating outrageously false claims based on malignly manipulated data. That is the criticism.

Jews being the largest minority in Iran is a joke. Not anywhere close to true. It is well known the 5 million Kurds in Iran have been persecuted as they have in Iraq and Turkey.

There are many other persecuted minorities in Iran including Baluchis, Turkmen, Armenians. But you'll pull a quote where some one says they're all having a swell time.

For centuries Jews accounted for at least 1% of the Iranian population. So by that measure out of 75 Million now, they would number 750,000 today. But the number is down to 20,000 or less.

They've been decimated. Let me make it clear and unambiguous. Practically all of the Jews in Iran have left, fled, emigrated, moved away, run away, are no longer with the company. Gone.

Get it?

Iranian regimes actively entertaining programs of mass extermination of Jews goes back to the Nazi era when signs in Tehran squares prominently displayed the sentiment: "In heaven, Allah is your master. On Earth, it is Adolf Hitler."

What we are witnessing these days is a modern revival.

www.bankingonbaghdad.com...

Iran's president has shot to the forefront of Holocaust denial in recent days, but it may seem more like self-denial: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad need only look to his country's Hitler-era past to discover that Iran and Iranians were connected to the Holocaust and the Nazi regime, as was the larger Arab and Islamic world under the leadership of the mufti of Jerusalem.

Iran's links to the Third Reich began during the pre-World War II years when it welcomed Gestapo agents and other operatives to Tehran, allowing them to use it as a Middle East base for agitation against the British and the region's Jews.

Key among these Gestapo men was Fritz Grobba, Berlin's envoy to the Middle East, and often called "the German Lawrence" because he promised a Pan-Arab state stretching from Casablanca to Tehran.

Relations between Berlin and Tehran were strong from the moment Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, when Reza Shah Pahlavi's nation was still known as Persia.

The shah became a stalwart admirer of Hitler, Nazism and the concept of the Aryan master race. He also sought the Nazis' help in reducing British petro-political domination.

So intense was the shah's identification with the Third Reich that in 1935 he renamed his ancient country Iran, which in Farsi means Aryan and refers to the Proto-Indo-European lineage that Nazi racial theorists and Persian ethnologists cherished.

The idea for the name change was suggested by Iran's ambassador to Germany, who came under the influence of Hitler's trusted banker Hjalmar Schacht. From that point, all Iranians were constantly reminded that their country shared a bond with the Nazi regime.

Shortly after World War II began in 1939, the mufti of Jerusalem crafted a strategic alliance with Hitler to exchange Iraqi oil for active Arab and Islamic participation in the murder of Jews in the Mideast and Eastern Europe, predicated on support for a Pan-Arab state and Arab rule over Palestine.
During the war years, Iran became a haven and headquarters for Gestapo agents and German operatives. It was from Iran that the seeds of the abortive 1941 pro-Nazi coup in Baghdad were planted.

After British Prime Minister Winston Churchill's forces booted the Nazis out of Iraq in June 1941, the German air crews supporting Nazi bombers escaped across the northern border back into Iran.

Likewise, the mufti of Jerusalem was spirited across the border to Tehran, where he continued to call for the destruction of the Jews and the defeat of the British. His venomous rhetoric filled the newspapers and radio broadcasts of Tehran.

From Tehran and elsewhere, the mufti was a vocal and vigilant opponent of allowing Jewish refugees to be transported or ransomed into Palestine. Instead, he wanted them shipped to the gas chambers of Poland.

In the summer of 1941, with the support of key Iranian military and government leaders, the mufti advocated implementing in Iran what had failed months earlier in Iraq. The plan once again was for a total diversion of oil from the Allies to the Nazis in exchange for the accelerated destruction of the Jews in Eastern Europe and support for an Arab state.

Through the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company, Iran already had been supplying Hitler's forces in occupied Czechoslovakia and Austria. Now the mufti agitated to cut off the British and the Allies completely and supply Germany in its push against Russia and the East.

In October 1941, British, Russians and other Allied forces invaded Iran to break up the Iran-Nazi alliance. Pro-Nazi generals and ministers were arrested and the shah's Western-leaning son was installed.

The mufti scampered into the Italian Embassy, where he shaved his beard and dyed his hair, and was then allowed to exit the country along with the rest of the Italian delegation.

Once the mufti relocated permanently to Berlin, where he established his own Reich-supported "bureau," he was given airtime on Radio Berlin. From Berlin and other fascist capitals in Europe, the mufti continued to agitate for the destruction of international Jewry, as well as a pan-Arab and pan-Islamic alliance with the Nazi regime.

He called upon all Muslims to "kill the Jews wherever you see them." In Tehran's marketplace, it was common to see placards that declared, "In heaven, Allah is your master. On Earth, it is Adolf Hitler."

When the mufti organized three Islamic Waffen SS divisions to undertake operations in Bosnia, among the 30,000 killers were some volunteer contingents from Iran. Iranian Nazis, along with the other Muslim Waffen SS, operated under the direct supervision of Heinrich Himmler and were responsible for barbarous actions against Jews and others in Bosnia. Recruitment for the murderous "Handschar Divisions" was open and public in Iran.

Iran and its leaders not only were aware of the Holocaust, they played both sides. The country offered overland escape routes for refugee Jews fleeing Nazi persecution to Israel and later fleeing postwar Iraqi fascist persecution but only in exchange for extortionary passage fees.

Thousands of Jews made their way to Israel via Iran both during the Holocaust and after the fall of Hitler, when Arab leaders, especially in Iraq, tried to continue Germany's anti-Jewish program. Iran profited handsomely.

I did, Eh?

Let's try again. Obviously "researching the Holocaust" is not considered a crime just as any research on anything historical.

What he is referring to, without question, is that "Holocaust Denial" is a considered a crime in many countries.

3 years ago this month Iran, in the name of "research", sponsored the Largest Holocaust Denier convention in history. Exactly why an Islamic Revolutionary regime is so interested in European history of the 20th Century is a real question. And why they needed the expertise of Ku Klux Klan spokesman David Duke.

Figure it out!

www.npr.org...

Iran Hosts Large Meeting of Holocaust Deniers

Iran is hosting a two-day conference that brings together Holocaust deniers and foes of Israel from around the world.

Sparked by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's frequent challenges to the widely held history of the Holocaust, the conference includes former Ku Klux Klan member David Duke, as well as ultra-Orthodox Jews who oppose the Zionist movement that created modern Israel.

Iranian leaders say the "Review of the Holocaust: Global Vision" conference, organized by Iran's Foreign Ministry, displays the country's commitment to intellectual freedom, in contrast to some European nations that have jailed Holocaust deniers.

From Syria to Australia, Morocco to Malaysia, most participants share a single passion: a desire to prove that the Holocaust never happened.

One participant from France said that there is no proof of the mass killings. Another, from Australia, was asked what he thought about the Holocaust. He said simply, "It's a lie."

The Iranians themselves were weighing their words a bit more carefully. Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki opened the conference by declaring that the meeting is meant neither to deny or to prove the Holocaust took place.

For Iran, the conference seems to have a political goal: to raise questions about the Holocaust in order to challenge the historical reasons for establishing the state of Israel in 1947.

Yeah the Iranians are the voice of reason. How a reviled racist like Duke, a spokesman for the Ku Klux Klan becomes an expert on Eastern European history of the early 20th Century is real question.

Ever consider the possibility Iran is currently run by religious fanatics and military thugs? That's what every Iranian I've ever met believes. That's what the protests in Iran are about.

Were we talking about Iran or Israel?

You have just described practically every nation on earth except Costa Rica which has no standing army.

If I were to question every self imposed Cuban exile about the Castro regime in Cuba it is doubtful one would have anything good to say about it.

If I were to question everyone in Cuba it is likely the majority of people there would have nice things to say about it.

By the way Michael you should hear some of the things the Israelis who live in Miami Beach have to say about Israel.

Not too flattering, but hey, I will leave the running everyone and everything down to others.

For some reason there is a certain type of person that really feels they make themselves look better by attempting to make everyone and everything else look worse.

Imagine that!

But back to the topic. Did Israel strike Iran yet? Won't be long now.
Anyone taking bets. I say within 2 weeks.

Clearly the American method of killing innocent men and women through indiscriminate military bombing and then giving the orphans free Christian coloring books is a much better and user friendly way to gain converts for a religion!

Religious fanatics sadly come in all stripes, sizes and guises!

Clearly the propaganda war against Iran is in part being carried out for religious reasons by the foot soldiers even though its is all about the economics of oil and power by those who are orchestrating it.

All religion seems to breed ignorant pawns!

And since you don't have anything to add to the topic maybe I can help you out.
Defiant Iran and others in Islam are using this Christian holiday to kill Christians and cause havoc all over the world. Threats and abuses against Christians like those not celebrating in certain places in Islam because of being harrassed and not allowed to practice their religion in Islamic countries. How very sad.
