she's the better pick than Obama, Binden and McCain. At least with her we won't be getting more of the same.

What makes you think this? Palin voted with Bush more than McCain. What in her actual record as Governor and voting record leads you to these conclusions? And I don’t mean what she tells you, I mean what her actual record and standing as Governor has shown.

You left out the part where the Republicans had control of congress for just about 12 of the last 14 years. Sounds like a "Democrat congress" to me.

There may not be a far left 'party' but there are plenty of people who are on the far left and they wouldn't be contained by all of the phone booths in the US! Obama is as far left as you can get in terms of an elected politician and look how many people he has supporting him.

I hope the OP is right and that the polls are wrong. After reading another thread where someone included an article discussing more evangelicals supporting Obama, even CATHOLICS supporting Obama, I'm really scared that Obama is going to win.

For the good of our country, I hope that McCain wins. And from a personal standpoint, I'm praying McCain wins or Obama may tax my family, quite literally, into bankruptcy!

That's what got us into this mess to begin with, believing everyone has the right to "affordable housing." That's why loans were being given to people who didn't even have jobs.

The same thing will happen if we start trying to provide health care for everyone as well.
