wow yes you are so right

if one knows a lot about all those topics
then it is NINA HAGEN
think about how she called her daughter COSMA SHIVA
and yes she is very busy with all those things for a long time

watch the video its 1985 ! and she was already busy a long time before

de.youtube.com...

and she can sing yes she can

anyway she is a great person
nevertheless Nena was /is also busy with this topics so
both have a lot of knowledge as it seems
wisdom is another topic

Talking about Nina Hagen, she is reading ATS as well, there is a link on her hompepage

www.beepworld.de...

Hm, her site is as badlam as herself - in a cute way.

But some things are def woth reading.
She also mentions Nena and the crob circles.
Put on your sunglasses and have a balm tea before clicking on her site.
And have fun!

do i think its made a difference?

yes...in my life it has
I think everybody wants to feel some sense of community...
Outing myself this way just introduce's me in one foul swoop(for want of a better expression)
subtlety has never been one of my strong points...; )
i guess i view this as an experiment...thinks to self...lets see what happens if i do this?]
so your answer to the question "has it made a difference?"
yes...my lifes a bit different because of my actions.....
But I do get a real kick out of all of all of this......

Well if its made a difference in you life then that can't be bad can it...at the end of the day whether your a celebrity or not everyone has a right to give their views on a subject that they are passionate about, and if it is your passion at the moment then good on you
At the end of the day celebrity or not we are all human (well I think we are anyway )and all belong to the same world (unless of course you are visiting from another planet ) so why shouldn't we be able to voice our opinions on a subject we are passionate about
I for one am glad I ventured upon this site as I have answers to some questions that have followed me around through the years...I am pleased to have become part of this community thankyou ATS

White Mouse,

thanks for posting that correction, as I was going to do so myself. I was sitting here reading away and the entire time I was saying to myself, don't correct it , don't correct it, don't correct it, aaahhh what the *&^% correct it, LOL only to find you had already done so.

I remember listening to the Carenters song many years ago and yes it was a beautiful song. One of my favourites though is still Chris de Burg's a Spaceman came traveling. However this one does touch on a very controversal( excuse the spelling if I am wrong I haven't had enough coffee yet) topic which is one theory about religion and Jesus being visited by aliens or some believing that "He" actually was an extra terrestrial being.

I loved watching that UFO documentary I found on Youube that Dan Aykroyd did. It was really interesting. this whole place is so interesting and addictive, though I have to say i try to stay away from the whole animal abuse ones, they make me sick and I am such a suck when it comes to any animals. Oops I've gone off topic.

...

As to what other people ''think'' about this thread is exactly that ....their ''Thoughts''...
now you can either choose to engage and debate these people or not....

To be honest i quite enjoy the odd bit of negativity...its fun
dissecting it and trying to understand where people are coming from....

Here's the deal... i think my AIM is true...just like most people here
but iam open to offers that it might not be...

Beacuse.....

i've been wrong before.....

I am surprised and impressed. intelligent, profound, good with words.
still doesnt save lifes... but a lot of good thoughts.
once again i learn, not to have cut and dried opinions about people.

For all who did/do not know what a 'none de plume' is ...
=> this way please: en.wikipedia.org... lol

Thanks for upgrading my vocabulary!

Sorry....I'm not English and I don't understand the sentence:"NONE DE PLUME" I hope it was not a criticism about me......sorry..

"nom de plume" is only a french expression that means "the name of the writer". [Because several years ago people wrote with a feather (= plume) and some ink]. That's all!

a nome de plume is a name an artist uses to give himself
not his real name, a name to publish his books, to make music etc.

so mark twain is not the real name of that writer - it is Samuel Langhorne Clemens
i guess you can find other examples easily!
