The point is to keep people out. Plain and simple, and a wall is highly effective at keeping people out. PJ, I see the wall as both literal and symbolic. The symbolic is what they/we are after. White Hats cannot say Humans As Currency traffickers" stop it," because like a drug addict they'll agree to anything and come back around - it is what they trade in entirely. This is an "agreement" in symbols, the end of the line for guns, drugs, children, cheap labor, disposable humans, as much as a physical barrier.

Too many knuckle draggers take things without context. See Mexico's new president for context, see South America for context, see Saudi Arabia for context, NK for context. Trafficking lanes all over must end - this is symbolic and literal.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.....just, wrong. ISIS or ISIL did not become ISIS until June of 2014. The group that EVENTUALLY became ISIS, Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad began in 1999, but it was hardly anything like today's ISIS. They were one of the many rag tag terrorist orgs that pledged allegiance to Al-Qaeda. This group vacuumed up all the other rag tag terrorist groups in the area and became modern day ISIS. With much assistance from Barack Obama, his administration and Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.

Your whole theory is stating that the REAL problem is the incentives here. Then the "wall" makes sense. If the problem lies with the origin countries, then those governments need addressed and pressured to correct their human rights issues. Where does this become American's responsibility.

True but neither do the republicans. BTW I'm not a democrat some of us can think for ourselves and not feel the need to put issues and solutions into a political box .

We have more in common if you really knew me. This should not be a dem vs repub issue, but when one supports and the other opposes one item. you can feel whichever way you want, one will get what they want and the other not in this instance. The best thing for the American people is having a secure border. Fix everything outside after. Don't expect other countries to be corrected first, where the REAL problem lies.
