How could we make difference between nuclear and non nuclear explosion, if we are not on the place with proper detectors? And if state sponsored media deny it saying instead it were chemical, weapons storage, or whatever else? Is there a reliable way to detect nuclear explosion from another country?

Easily. Neighbouring countries(Japan, Russia, India) detectors will be set off too. But satellites in orbit will detect radiation almost immediately.

I really doubt the number of dead the Chinese government is giving us.

My guess is there is a sharp increase in the death toll. I base that solely on the videos i've seen. I read a few places that they didnt expect anyone within a kilometer of the epicenter to have survived.

Yep. I'm guessing we will see a few hundred killed and thousands injured. I believe it was a fuel station that exploded shipments of something and a chemical plant

Wow. That's scary. I mean.. the explosion was insane. In one video the shockwave hits the person filming about 2 seconds after the explosion is seen. I had read ut was a fuel station that exploded shipments and a chemical plant, but tnt would explain the immense explosion much better. Ive seen probably 5 different videos of it (ive also seen pictures of body parts in the street).

Yeah last i heard there where 17 fatalities , hard to believe considering the size of the port ( one of the largest supply ports for Beijing) wich should have had thousands of workers present during the time of the accident

But this is what China does, they believe keeping the public uninformed will keep everyone in check and downplay these situations to stop the spread of panic.

Not saying i agree with this kind of policy , far from but this is what they do.

MAY be why they were hit...

They hacked us we bomb them with an exootic weapon.
It would mean we are getting pretty serious.

Anything of Military importance being made in that area?

What blew up?

I doubt it, its a industrial zone. In a part being newly developed. Lets see what reason the Chinese government gives us.

Well thats one way to fire a whole shift.

Latest from BBC:

At least 44 people are now known to have died, and more than 500 injured, following two major explosions in China's northern city of Tianjin.

This report suggests that it's explosives.
Going by the magnitude of it, seems quite possible.

44 dead so far, possible hundreds, BBC

Cars burnt kilometers away, visible on picture.

Official non-explanations suck!
This cannot be "incident" in industrial hazardous materials. What kind of materials were they?
Could we speak of highly thermal materials, weapons grade?

or even of nuclear disaster of whatever kind?(modern smaller nukes)
The nuclear option was too fast ruled out by "specialists" however that was exactly what some people on the ground said it looked like. Sure none of them witnessed a real nuclear test

What we are shown on those apocalyptic pictures, could serve as the next background of Arnold's Terminator.

Perhaps economic power N2 owes better explanation to the world. Two days after unilateral dropping the Yuan and hurling worldwide panic in stock exchanges.

Are we already in WW3, silent mode?

That site is their supercomputer site ,supposedlt they have been hacking us recently in fact WE ARE in a cyberwar as we speak with several sources.
I would suggest this was such a source.
AS to what it was hit with it's something not often used, deniable.

I had thoughts of that one also. In Nevada.

Sitting on a natural gas pipeline no less. Makes a person wonder about the people who build these plants.

Yeah, that's some crazy video there. I was here when that happened. I remember thinking someone had dropped a nuke(and I'm quite a few miles from the blast) yet we didn't get incinerated so I was wrong, luckily.

It was crazy to see the shockwave just roll out like that. Man, I remember feeling that, the whole house shook. We got lucky that this wasn't really near any people as at that time Henderson hadn't been built up as it is today. Looks not so much with this explosion in China. If 13 is the actual death toll from this explosion then they got lucky the number was so low. Though it is hard to tell distance in the videos but it sure looks close to town.

I agree. Monitors of Chinese censorship have already started reporting a surge in government removal of media in the country, including statements by users about the work being done to fight ongoing fires, the number of killed and injured the media censorship itself.

The Chinese government needs to be incredibly careful here. Silencing information after something like this will anger millions of citizens.

I also think it's a little odd that there has been absolutely no mention of any missing persons list being developed. Surely, after something like this, you would be seeing thousands of people coming to report their loved on missing? Where are those people making those reports?

This is incredibly suspicious. Even in events much smaller than this other nations publish helplines and start on a list so they know who they are looking for and where to look for them. I have seen absolutely no evidence of this "rescue effort" they're talking about.

If this had been a nuclear detonation every nuclear nation on Earth would have known about it within minutes, and every government would immediately start bunker evacuations, with every military issued an alert.

You can't just set off a nuke and have no one notice, the whole damn world would have noticed and acted accordingly.

So because you have no evidence to support your outlandish "theory" (read: delusion) you imagine some sci-fi scenario of an entirely new weapon you have absolutely no evidence of even existing being used?

There is no evidence at all for you to believe this was a deliberate act, and even if it were a deliberate act it would more plausibly be as a result of terrorism, not a state sanctioned act of war.

Speculation is one thing, outright delusion over scenarios based on nothing but your own paranoias and fantasies is something else entirely.

As I've said before, some people are so utterly desperate to see a WW3 scenario and global Armageddon they'll invent all kinds of bs to support their twisted fapping fantasy.
