US Marines Deployed

Looks like we're sending in the boys to atleast secure the place, thank god!

50 marines won't secure anything at this point. That is the number that should have been there in the first place.

IMO there should be an immediate Military retaliation. No US Ambassador has been murdered since 1978, and our President should show the World that murdering our Ambassadors will have serious and severe repercussions.

Yes, revenge is just great isn't it.

is there any wonder that most of the world sees the USA as a massive terrorist.

Blood lust. That's what you're talking about, and it's just as deplorable as the act which has been carried out today. With this line of thought, this makes you the same, if not worse, than those who have carried out this attack. Bravo. Go USA *pounds chest and drools*

You advocate weakness in the face of aggression.
That spills more blood than anything known to man.

not condoning any horrible behaviour, but the 15 min. trailer i just watched is truly offensive, and was made to be that way!
why do something like this knowing it will cause such an outcry?
who funded this? how did such a piece of hate inspired crap even get released?
imagine if a film like this was put out about asians,or blacks,or even whites! do you not think it would cause an outrage?
the film is an absolute joke, and it cost $5 million to make!!!!!
i could make a better movie with my cell phone!
the film was made for one purpose only, and it did it's job well!

They do come out with movies like this all of the time. There are movies that poke fun asians, blacks, whites, Christians, Jews, Catholics everything. But I see none of them killing and burning everything in sight do you?

Can anyone confirm that this is an act of war?

We didn't declare war on Saudi Arabia after 9/11, we didn't declare war on Yemen after the U.S.S. Cole bombing and we didn't declare war on Oklahoma City after the Federal Building was bombed. LOL!

We understood that they were acts committed by criminals and not countries or states.

Strength does not always mean bombing an entire country into the dark ages and murdering a whole bunch of people who are just as disgusted by this act as you. Which is what will happen if the USA has its way. The millitant force with no morals. And no clue.

This makes one wonder about the attacks, possible culprits and this announcement by Russia and China.

Russia and China to back Iran resolution

After days of diplomacy, Russia and China have agreed to support a US-backed resolution demanding that Iran stop activities that could be used to make nuclear arms.

Diplomats said on Wednesday the agreement sent a unified message to Iran, but also convinced Israel that diplomacy was a real alternative to military force in preventing a nuclear confrontation.

The resolution cannot be enforced by the 35-nation board of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), even if approved by vote or consensus as expected on Thursday. But with Israel threatening war against Iran, the agreement is a significant progress after months of diplomatic deadlock.

Israel views a nuclear-armed Iran as a strategic threat, citing Iran's persistent calls for the destruction of the Jewish state, its development of missiles capable of striking Israel, and Iranian support for Arab armed groups.

Really? You think we should kill millions of innocent people in order to prove to a few guilty ones that killing is wrong?

Brilliant.

The movie is just an excuse. If people want to continue to believe that the movie is the main factor, they are missing out on the opportunity to discover the truth.

This event was planned.

2 cents

I agree. I reckon that they were either on hair triggers for an excuse to do something, or it was simply a good opportunity and strings were pulled to make it happen.

Lets explore this possibility -

* - Iranian involvement theory
* - Syrian involvement theory

Remember that bizarre appearance of hundreds of pro-Assad protesters all fully kitted out with flags, banners, signs and framed portraits of Assad at a Friends of Syria event in Tunisia? Things that make you go hmm..

Infantile, childish, throwing all of the toys out of the pram style behaviour. And it's why the world hates you.
(notthe people, but the military and your goverment)

The USA is the biggest terrorist threat on this planet.

Why are you laughing after our state department official and staff were murdered?

Is this just a big joke to you?

You should be ashamed of yourself.

Those who are calling for revenge, take a pause.

Look at the date it happened. It is in memory of 911.

There is more than meets the eye.

The ambassador murdered in 1979 in Afghanistan, was in retaliation for the lies that it was USA that laid the seige in Mecca by radicals. Who hated Sunni Saudi Arabia more for centuries? America or another muslim sect?

Who funded those radicals then?

Today, the same people had murdered another american ambassador, pulling the strings for another confrontation. Back then, many were ignorant and believed in conspiracy policies and led by the nose by those whom had been pulling the strings, into blaming USA and leading the nation into war after war, muslims against christian hates and religion ignorances.

It is time to critically analyze Iran today....

I wonder how many of the attackers/murderers actually saw the video? I am guessing that many of them did not actually see the video. They just used it as an excuse to riot and kill.

Yes, we declared a War on Terror.
The Saudi govt cooperated with us in the War on Terror
The Yemeni govt cooperated with us in the War on Terror
The Pakistani govt cooperated with us in the War on Terror
The new Iraq govt cooperated with us in the War on Terror
The new Afghan govt cooperated with us in the War on Terror

What were you laughing at again?
Was it your sides denial that there is such a thing as a War on Terror?

Quite clearly I'm amused at your unyielding partisanship, that you typed that we "get hit" when liberals are in charge...the day after 9/11 when thousands were killed on the GOP watch.

It's surreal.
