Maybe your contact should get another crystal ball because the one he's using seems a bit faulty at the moment. Russia isn't going to attack anyone and neither is China. The West keeps those countries alive with our investments - if we pulled out all our cash they'd be canabalising each other within a week.

Pretty misleading title! Unconfirmed troops mentioned what five times and that is only for spec ops troops. RT is full of pooh.

Well there's not much on twitter except the same old regurgitated rubbish. Debka isn't exactly well known for being correct and it appears that's where PressTV and RT got their stories from

If British SF's weren't on the ground I'd be very surprised.

LOL - what planet are you on?

Our investments to them? Pulled out all OUR cash?

Man, we owe them TRILLIONS for THEIR investment in US.

All we're giving them is bits of paper with IOU written on them.

HA! Aha ha haha hahaha... Good one! You're joking, right? What parallel universe did you come from if you're not? You must have accidentally walked through a black hole or something.

Guess who the US owes money to? That's right.

Sure, look up the statistics for how much the Western countries have invested in China and Russia over the last 30 years and how much Russia and china have invested in the western economies, then get back to me on that one. The end of the cold war was down to economics, guess who won that one.

If we tank as a source for China's products - they're stuffed, they're totally dependant on the west and they know it.

Maybe all will chill out. What with our knowledge of past conflicts and the futility of escalation, maybe everyone will just posture and relax. Massive destruction maybe too much to contemplate or initiate Negotiations reign and we talk. Nah, probably not Killings like a cancer, out of control growth. Guns are blazing, People are dying in Syria, and likely soon in Turkey And from there everyone's in on it.However I'm thinking All Out is going to be difficult to achieve. Starts and stops, hot spots, cool spots.Big events followed by lack of events. China's winding down. Russia's got cash. And the United States is on the other side of the world, with basically farmland and water, and a small little, well armed partner in the area. Pay attention. History may require you to look back and wonder how it all happened. Notice how many maybes I got in here?

China and Russia and Syria and Iran are planning on doing some war games this summer, so probably.

War games are a euphemism. They are planning a war. And so do their adversaries.
Japan and Switzerland are the open factors until August in the world scenario - in different ways.

ATS member Hopeforeveryone is correct...

China is already the biggest foreign buyer of U.S. government debt with holdings of more than $1.1 trillion as early 2011. But U.S. statistics showed just $2.3 billion in Chinese direct investments in companies with operations in the United States at the end of 2009, the report said.

That is approximately 0.1 percent of the $2.3 trillion in total foreign direct investment, or FDI, in the United States.

China's share is less than many smaller countries such as Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Brazil and India and dwarfed by the biggest foreign investors in the United States, such as Britain, Japan and Germany, the report said.

However, Chinese investment in the United States already is increasing, likely rising by more than $5 billion in 2010 and supporting more than 10,000 American jobs, the report said.

U.S. companies have about $50 billion invested in China, compared to the low level of Chinese investment here.

Report urges U.S. open door to China investment flood

It is a fact they train harder than other nations because we have no conflicts with other nations.

That makes absolutely no sense. What would be the point of training so hard if you have no conflicts with other nations? The IRA is a joke.

10,500 Active and 9,800 Reserves isn't so bad if that is what you are getting at. We don't fight conventional warfare. We fight guerrilla warfare and only fight in static defences under UN missions.
your 10,500 troops opposed to 500,000 Army Soldiers (That's only Army.. don't forget Marines and both their reservists).. let me know how that works out for you. That's almost like the ratio of the Chinese Army against the U.S.

The Army isn't trained in "conventional warfare".. thanks to OEF and OIF the entire manual has changed. By the way, the U.S. Special Forces have taught countries to fight guerrilla warfare for years.. what makes the IRA better?

We have the most battle hardened force in the world, regardless of wars we've lost/won.

That said, if you want to nit pick about numbers then so be it. But just remember that the Irish Brigades take some of the lowest casualty rates in any EU Battlegroups. :-)
I guess we're just supposed to take your word for it right?

You clearly had no idea of what your military standard is.

Depends on who you are training with. Obviously you haven't ever trained with a real division like 82nd Airborne or 101st Airborne, not to mention the SF Groups that occupy as well.

I train with U.S. Marines (your so called Elites) as part of Ireland's PFP programme with NATO, and let me tell you, they are nowhere near the level of Britain's regular or territorial army.

No you don't. If you truly knew any Marines, you wouldn't say that.. at least to their faces, luckily here you have a computer screen to hide behind

Thanks for noticing ! I merey posted that up in reply to someone suggesting Russia and China were about to attack - hilarious i know ! War is mainly about money and there's no money in it for China and Russia, quite the opposite. Doom porn enthusiasts will latch onto any chance to see the world burn.

Does amuse me that the totally wrong guys get stars while the guys with the correct information get none - very telling about belief systems that.

Any other sources than RT?

Can't find any UK sources saying British troops involved in any action in Syria? Makes me doubt the credibility of the story to be honest. Rightly or wrongly, our media usually bangs the drum for any action involving our forces.

man how dumb are you? American soldiers were already dying in Egypt and the media was still calling for intervention. Sorry but England's army is no different from any other nwo army. They'll do whatever they are told and kill innocent people so the few can have their way. Like it or not the Russian sect of the NWO is the most straight forward out there.

THANK GOD the US still possesses it's major productive capacities right!? Oh no, that all went to China.

Hilarious threat you got there too, like going to a supermarket and yelling; "WITHOUT ME YOU WILL ALL BE BROKE, HAHA!"

Meanwhile, Hopeforeveryone starves to death.

They have the productive capacity and the consumers to buy it, do you think any Chinese company would give a rat's ass if you started a boycot? They'd have a good laugh, the times have changed, without them, you have ZIT, NADA, NO-THING. You are dependent on them for everything, not the other way around, they have products, you need/want products. You don't buy products? Other people will.
