It is not an issue of Capitalism....it is an issue over Laws and Fairness and Writting Laws to make a persons ability to make money equal to all of the same ability.

I in no way believe a person who only has the credentials or the intellect or the work ethic...to work as a MiniMart clerk....should be paid the same as a Surgeon.

But at the same time....there MUST be laws written and enforced to make trade and market activities and information as well as timing of market changes EQUAL to all of the same abilities. Right now....theaverage joe on a E-Something Trade site....does not get market fluctuation information at the same level or quickness of time as large brokerage companies.

Also....Laws must be written and enforced on holding accountable and responsible deliberate tanking of a companies stock to allow gain for those who manage it by investment in it's failure! This is happening all the time.

Capitalism works just fine as long as laws are in place and enforced to make anyone who has the drive to achieve wealth by hard work and research and ability....equal and fair. We have lost our way. At one time....people who had a vision....built things to improve the lives of others and by doing so....provided jobs and made profit and a product where all benifited.

Now...it is all...the Hell with the Company! Let's get rich quick and leverge this thing tothe hilt....drive up the stock....sell early....then when reality sets in......they are gone with their Billions...peoples investments are rendered worthless....and jobs are lost. Split Infinity

I don't think you really understand how rich, wealthy and powerful some people are. I prefer they rather put a limit on the minimum you should have, kinda like a poverty insurance.

First off we would have to do away with greed. Then there would be no need for money, just local barter for goods and services. To do away with greed however, you would first have to conquer the army the rich has bought to protect their greedy, selfish selves and that is going to require money, which the greedy have all of and an army, which the greedy will destroy with their army before you can even get off the ground. So back to square one. No, I am afraid that the only recourse is to wait till the greedy let their greed get the better of them and squeeze us so tightly that we become so hungry, it no longer matters if we fight and die, cause we're dying anyway. Only then will we rise up and burn it all down and start over... building... another... "civilization".

I did not pay for an $130,000 education to take care of able-bodied people who do not want to take care of themselves.

Entitlements will be gone like the Rosicrucians and Obama come Jan 20, 2013.

If I work for mine, so can everyone else. This is the Land of Opportunity where if you are smart enough you can make enough for your natural life like most of us have. I don't play the markets anymore since 2006 when I liquidized all of my stock and jumped into physical gold and private investments. I just work my firms and stay tethered to the grain as they say.

I think this actually has nothing to do with any political system or school of thought, such as communism or capitalism. More it has to do with the belief that the OP (or people like him/her) have the right to tell not just anybody but everybody else in the world that there are artificial limits on how much imaginary currency they can make. If you really believe that limiting how much paper money one can collect or spend would solve any problems at all you are being foolish. If they burned all the paper money tomorrow morning there would be a new kind of currency tomorrow night and some people would have more of it than others.

You are really missing the big picture here, and thinking way inside the box just like they want you to.

MAN! Have YOU hit the nail on the head! You know what I do I believe in Entertainment. I have to go to parties held at rediculously late hours some times after a release to be seen and be in the circle. I have a disdane for these Rich Pampered Whiners like you would not believe.

I can't to even be in the same room with them as every time I do....I feel like I need to take a shower to get the FILTH of their veiws and attitudes towards the average person. My Family is both Military and "Civilian". We are self made and have several sucessful companies and worked very hard to achieve this.

I started working at 5 years old...taking out the trash for 50 cents an hour at my Dad's company....and on weekends he had to go to the Military Base. I hold a relatively high level...or did at one time....in the Entertainment Industry and although I still do this...I am older now and have paid my dues and made my money...but I never forgot how and what I had to do to get it! These people sicken me! They call average people out of their circles the PLEEBS or the IDIOT HORDES! How soon they forget that they were once there themselves. As for OLD MONEY....that is even worse! These people actually think that they are smarter or better than others...I never waste an oppertunity to use my GOD given high level of intellect, knowledge and experience to put them in their place....that being no different than the poor homeless addict who knows not what he does because he has become addicted to something that sucks out your soul....in the Old Rich case....what takes their soul is their addiction to Money and Power...without benifit to their fellow man.

Ive seen a school teacher. $25000 a year man retire and liquidate several smart investments from his years. 100 grand here 100 grand there. Made several smart well researched decisions in his younger years. ANYONE in this country can do it. I believe that wholeheartedly.
