Ok so the clay county DA's disturbing news is that they have no leads, the case is going nowhere and if it gets solved it will be ' years from now'. So I'll have to retract my statement 30 or 40 pages ago where I said I didn't think these players were criminal masterminds. Clearly someone is a mastermind or the luckiest son of a gun on earth.

Curious, just how long did it take the police to accuse you of killing your son?

It is one thing to know in your head that the police are looking at you as a suspect, I. Would contend, in those first few hours, to have an officer throw a picture of your child down in front of you, order you too look at it. To tell you they know YOU KILLEd YOUR CHILD, changes how one sees the police. This was Deborah experience, in those first few critical hours.

Now you claim they don't care how the parents feel, and this is effective. I see, that we are over a month into this, there is no body, there is no arrest, and I truly question what they gain by this.

Don't forget the JonBenet Ramsey caswe, not saying this it the same thing, we just dont know!

JonBenét Patricia Ramsey (August 6, 1990 – December 25, 1996) was an American child beauty pageant contestant who was murdered in her home in Boulder, Colorado, in 1996. The six-year-old's body was found in the basement of the family home nearly eight hours after she was reported missing. She had been struck on the head and strangled. The case, which after several grand jury hearings remains unsolved, continues to generate public and media interest.

Colorado law enforcement agencies initially suspected JonBenét's parents and her brother. However, the family was partially exonerated in 2003 when DNA taken from the victim's clothes proved they were not involved.[1][2] Her parents would not be completely cleared until July 2008.[3] In February 2009, the Boulder Police Department took the case back from the district attorney to reopen the investigation.[4]

Here's a thing I think that is a sort of ' mass hysteria' type psychologic situation in cases like this. Don't discount how important it is to feel safe. Even though folks cannot stand the idea of a parent doing it to their child....... the idea of a 'boogeyman' sneaking in the house at night scares EVERY PARENT. See what I mean? It might be easier for the country to say the parents are guilty than it is to think there is a baby abductor at large sneaking in random windows. In murder cases police often want to quell the nerves of the community as quickly as possible so folks aren't running inside at dark and locking windows and being afraid to live their lives. So even though it's horrible to think of the mother or father doing it, it's easier as a community to NOT worry about the safety of their own children. Did that make sense?

This might explain why folks feel compelled to point at a woman we know little about and say it's got to be her.
Myself included.

I'll stop asking you the question you don't want to answer.

Please forgive me. I thought I did, but I'm missing it..

Would you do me the kindness of trying once again. I'm not trying to avoid your question. In my opinion you are respectful, and I have an idea how it feels to feel as if you are being ignored.. your questions are valid.

Here is the link to the video regarding Megan Wright lying about the cell phone. Very interesting info...

Missouri Woman's Phone Tied to Baby Lisa's Disappearance

The person claiming Megan Wright is lying is another resident from Megan's house. The resident told media that each person has their own cell phone. And he (resident) admits the house is a meth house and he's seen Megan taking meth. Megyn Kelly says they've also heard the (meth) info from other sources as well.

Megyn Kelly (fox anchor) also says the timing on phone could be wrong...there is apparently still no confirmation that the call was at either 2:30 or the newer 8:30pm timing.

The best point made "why would megan wright lie about the phone?" especially when it could be confirmed....sheesh

Wasn't words to that effect post here not long ago, by one of our members?

So that makes it ok to vilify the parent ,who is obviously in distress? That makes it ok, for police to hide the possibility that others should be concerned about someone who is taking babies?

That makes no sense to me, and is truly a selfish reason for pointing the finger at the parents.

I have some interesting links to add at some point in this thread , about who actually is involved with child porn, and the cover up of child porn rings... but I will wait..and see how this all plays out.

Gabby , I did not say it makes it OK. I am just saying it is probably an explantion for WHY people do it. I didnt say ok or not ok. You like to judge each statement on it's ok or not. And many times before when I post an opinion or a thought you say Im condoning or attacking. It is YOURS to decide if it is ok or not or each person who condones or attacks. Why would you think in a case where millions are watching and do NOT know the parents or anyone involved personally, that so many would OPT to point finger at parents INSTEAD of intruder? Why do you think that would happen? Since it cannot be mass hysteria, then what is it?

And quite honestly any opinion I do have about Deborah would not be hurting her because I'm not saying it to her, nor will I ever say it to her. So what's it matter what I think of an absolute stranger anyway ?

'there's no case, if it's going to be solved, it's going to be solved years from now'

That's what I was afraid of and I'm sure that echos all of our sentiments.
When the professional earlier was interviewed and he said something about most criminals are 'stupid' - I kind of felt my stomach drop thinking he was over-generalizing, but, when he went on to say, 'but you can't discount luck' it was like an 'ah ha' moment for me.

Someone got lucky. I can only hope it's a kidnapper and Lisa is still alive and well somewhere being loved and cared for. I'm sorry for the hell her parents will have to go through...that is if they're innocent...and for Lisa's sake I hope they are.

peace

I don't know Schmae..all I know is that if people are trying to make themselves feel safer, or even that they are a such a better parent, by accusing debbie..its a pretty lame reason

This is my own personal experience. My youngest son was lost for about 30 minutes. He had gone with his older brother and a friend to our local park for football pratice. I got a phone call they couldn't find my youngest son, I could not move, I could not speak, I did manage to say to my sister Brad is missing. Still could not move or speak.

My friend called me back to say they still havn't found him and could some of our family have picked him up, I told my friend you have 5 minutes to call me back if you havn't found him, I will be on my way to the park. I would have tore up hell and anyone in my path to find my child and I would not trust the LE.

There are not words to explain what I was feeling, I still have no words to describe what I was feeling. It was the only time I have ever felt this way and never want to feel it again. The phone rang and they had found him, my friend asked me would I have ever forgiven them if we had not found my son, I said NO.

Wow so scary !
Once many years ago when my now grown son was about 3 or 4 , I was checking out at walmart ( yu know BIG STORE) and when I looked down , he was gone..........GONE! I looked everywhere real quickly and ran to the door and he was out there at one of the games, like video games. He had literally had less than 30 seconds so he must have been running. The panic and mania and insanity I felt in that few seconds has lasted still. It was horror, no other word .
I wouldnt' wish it on anyone and certainly not Lisa's parents. By the same token if they know where she is or caused this to happen, they deserve every second.
Oh ok , easier question for David and Gabby... If Lisa's parents Do know and ARE involved, what do you think of them ?

Thanks for providing the link Michelle, I do not stream or play video's at work, so this is why I did not come across it when searching the news. I will look at it when I get home.

No problem IWOH
It took me quite some time to find it as well. I think others managed to watch it when it was breaking live...but I had missed it and had to wait for it to come up on fox's page.

Anyhow, update from Jim Spellman (although I'm losing patience in his, and CNN's coverage)

@jimspellmancnn jim spellman Next up for me will be 5p EST on @HLNTV with @VinniePolitan we hope to do the best part of an hour on #babylisa

I certainly hope they can find it in their hearts to devote a whole "best part of an hour" to this baby.....seeing as how they devoted a million to Michael Jackson...

Silo, there is a new case here now of a missing 2 yr old boy. His mother left him in car to go walk to get gas when her car ran out and now he is missing. The dad swears she's done something to him and they are in a bitter divorce or custody. BUT they said dad and mom left him in the car as an infant to go shopping for an hour inside a store? Please dont defend that Gabby , LOL. Infant in car for an hour while shopping, not cool. Anyway, it seems oddball and twisty. I thought you'd want to know.

Megan Wright is claiming on her facebook that the fox report is slander...all untrue. She seems pretty upset, but who knows. She says "interviews here I come!!!"

Michelle

I will actually post here what she has said on her next status update after the "slander" one - minus the swear word. (removed by me)

Ok so here's the deal: I have an interview with Headline News at 5:30 and shortly after I will be meeting with their sister network CNN. [Jim Spellman has been awesome since day one!!]. After that, assuming that everything goes off with out a hitch, I will be online posting in the "Justice for Lisa Irwin" facebook group. (linked below) If ANYONE and I put emphasis on A.N.Y.O.N.E. has a question for me- I invite you to join me. Ask me anything. I have nothing to hide, and since my reputation is already ******! What the hell!? Might as well try to clear my name by answering the people's questions, since the news leaves a little to be desired...

I will tune into this and see what goes down

Michelle
