Hi Guys I am newbie and I am not well versed in geology, plate tectonics and vulcanology But I have 2 questions.

Q is it possible that there is some kind of undiscovered super fault responsible for all the uptick in earthquakes that we have been seeing?

also a bit of the topic.

Mid Atlantic ridge runs from Arctic Circle all the way to Antarctica, Is this mid Atlantic ridge a fault line is a super I mean colossal mega quake possible all along this ridge?

Thanks

I was just thinking that the quiet today has actually been nice, even though it's gloomy with the weather and that the larger ones would start after midnight again around 2 or 3 am.

Guys....this one is wierd. Was there some major ground movement with this or something? The Iris seismo is like something I have never seen before:

IRIS

It's showing up in Yellowstone like more of a local quake:

This is a weird one...Puterman? You still on here?

Confirmed there was a 4.7 and now aftershocks? I don't have a good feeling about this. Will check and see if there is a summary yet . We're having thunderstorms right now and I heard Arkansas is in for the same. Weather change - larger quake

They just broke into the show, THV, to anounce a 4.7 and she said it was felt in Little Rock.

North St. Louis County has bad storms getting ready to hit. Felt a shake around 11 but thought it was thunder. Tornadoes popping off the squall line.
