SkepticOverlord actually seems to have changed that suggestion in this post and is now asking not for 60k jpegs, but for uncompressed psd or for png format submissions that he can try and compress himself.

I use a secondary 22" widescreen monitor turned portrait (vertical) mode for web browsing. This is awesome because I can full-screen the browser and usually don't even have to scroll most web pages because of the length I get. Unfortunately I don't have much width, so the cool background of the skins is lost on me.

EDIT: I just noticed that I do see it briefly though at times, for example when I click submit, for about .5 seconds before the text and other CSS overwrites it

If you use firefox, just right click and then click on view background image. You can then see the background image.

except I did notice the cannabis leaves in "conspiricy" I think you should remove those before sending them to bill.

I didn't say the image broke my video card, I said I had 2 video cards over heat (they were 128 mb video cards, nothing special but plenty for viewing images off web sites), resulting in me currently using my old Voodoo3 Card (it's a 16 MB video card from the 90's...) and yes, it takes a good amount of time to load all the skins. It's not as bad now that they're all saved in my Cache but the first time around it almost completely crashed my system - so anyway, is there a way to turn them off or not? That's all I want to know, I don't need to waste my time with pointless threads, and I shouldn't have to sit here listing reasons why - it's a simple YES or NO question, and if it's a YES, then please inform me how to do so, I'm not seeing any settings or options for it anywhere on ATS... If it's a NO, then please code in a way so that us less fortunate users can do so if we choose to.
