2012: What do YOU think will happen?

In my opinion, probably nothing, maybe a war started, maybe some disasters, same stuff that happened this year.

To the people talking about solar flares, they cannot be predicted like that, the only reason michio kaku is saying this is because that's the most likely time in the next 11 years that there COULD be a solar flare, he's not saying it's going to happen for sure, there's just a chance it might happen.

Although if it did happen, it would destroy society completely, send us back to the stone age.

I believe the Gods will see us all again. Realizing who won last time They will smile and begin picking their pawns. We will have another war one based on gods. Some will work together having their team. Note we of the esteemed ATS will be chosen. We will be the fodder,Despite excelling in our feilds of understanding. Stereo will probably become head of a clergy probably christian. For his naysaying talents. \\or perhaps for his abuility to hear say nothing unless asked to say nothing. Seems he has a supernatural skill at complaining at our own choices of midday meals.So despite our wishes he will know better. Perfect enforcer for the lack of imagination. Sadly He will die whilst denying such a death was possible. Hopefully in death as well as life he will get what he deems his afterlife and no A**hole tells him it it impossible. Ats as a site sadly will be undone save for the spirit that ignites it. That will go on in each of us. Some will move to the hills Some will as well move from the hills..Many will regret their desicions..Most won't know til the end. I have no facts only my opinion of this. For most the end of the world will be easy. For some used as pawns it will belittle their abuilities. For me, I will be smiling with Artemes's pigeon tightly bound.
To put it easy Gods will come. They will have their will's inserted into humans. Lilke good mice we will fight. Stereo will pass on to a better life. I will live my next 40 years fighting off the tide. I wuill pick a side I will fight for it. I will die a very slow hard death. Praying to a god And hoping I was as good at my job as Stereo..Glad I had Planned the elaborate trap that unfortunately led to Stereo's Death...Shame really Stereo is about to come on and tell me how my opinion is proven by nothing. Hence it must only be a lunatics fancy.. Funny how only sane people comment on their own lunacy... Be Well All And in all things Leave this life with everything in the next don't brag about it...

Nothing will happen! And after we all see that NOTHING HAPPENED, all the
Nib-Heads will still justify the morning of December 22nd as a pivotal point. And
they will ride their beliefs long into the future and consider every political,
social, scientific and media issue to be a direct result of the galactic alignment.

Rather than admitting they were silly and played like a fool, they will have no
choice but to convince themselves that the process takes longer than expected.

Thus living out the rest of their lives believing a lie. No worries though.
Lies are pretty common in most things involving blind faith. You're not alone.

Others who can admit their silliness will get back to work and drive the
machine that makes the world go around. Those will be the ones who truly
woke up. And what do we do after we wake up? We go back to work, that's
right. How does that tie fit?

I'm not sure if there were ever mass market versions of Newton's predictions published. They were made in a set of manuscripts from around 1704-05 that he never intended to be published. The originals are currently held by the Jewish National and University Library.

That is something that has been happening for almost 2000 years.

i believe there is a population reduction gonna happen. fema camps and weather and whatnot. its not the end but a start. start to control the world all out. at that point everyone, most of the population is aware of these mother#er* and are forced to obey their terms or you die. either they kill you or you die because you are closed to basic needs and resources. money money money! no more money. coz its in your body.

The year 2000 actually was a big deal, but most seem to not know this just because the world didn't explode.

Computers all over the world, especially those used by most major banks were programmed in an outdated language that would have caused them to fail when the date rolled over to 2000. However, many older, retired programmers who were very sufficient with the programming language of COBOL were payed lots of money to go back to work and fix these computers so this problem would not occure.

You can imagine the disaster this would have caused had these people not worked their butts off to fix this problem, can't you? So Yes, I'd say Y2K had some legitamcy.

As for what will happen in 2012? I'm not sure, there are quite a bit of different theories out there. But I will say look around and open your eyes, we are living in some very interesting times and I'm sure it's not just me and every one I know personally that believes the world is not doing well right now in all aspects of life.

What ever 2012 may bring (or may not), it's always best to be prepared and if we indeed do all kick the bucket on this date, all I can say is be proud that you were the lucky generation to witness such a wonderful, natural occurence.

I just hope I remember to keep a little calender on my person, because if even a small percentage of the events prophesied actually happens...................then I fear that 12-21-12 will come, and If I'm still here, I won't even realise that the special day had arrived.

It's suppose to be the "horned planet", maybe a variation of the winged planet, planet X etc. I got it on an image search.

The Myans tell of water causing the end of this era. Having collected endless information on this site and others, I think water WILL be the catalyst. Not as a giant Tsunami, or anything as dramatic, but as a result of global warming....

The currents that flow around the world and keep us all stable, are changing due to global warming... The cold waters of the northern hemisphere are being diluted by the massive amount of melting ice, so they don't sink so deep. That has a profound affect on the warm currents and once that cycle breaks down, temperatures in that area, including the UK and Europe will drop dramatically.

This process is, in my opinion, going to be speeded up by the damage caused to the Gulf stream, thanks to the BP oil leak and the resultant pollution.

We will see food shortages and ice-age temperatures, which will cause many deaths and the mass movement of populations.

Weather patterns around the world will change, so the globe as a whole will be affected.

Those who have avoided being dumbed down by the media and lack of proper education, and who haven't subjected themselves to the poor diets that governments allow us to consume - fast food, processed food, etc etc., and who have the capacity to think out side of the box, will survive.
All others will perish.

From this we will see the error of our ways. How we have abused the worlds resources, abused animals and destroyed everything in our path. How futile and pointless materialism is. How we don't need better phones, tv's, cars, shampoos, 'new improved' etc. How corrupt governments and the banks are, and how the monetary system has conned us all the way. How there is enough of everything in this world for everyone, if shared, and that thinking of just me me me me, is destructive, selfish and purely ego. That we are ALL one with the world - We are all made of the same energy. That what we think - we are, and that together we will have a future in a New Era.... One that we all feel happy in, smile in, share in, and care in.

That is what I truly hope will happen.

I don't think there will be anything major on that date. If there is I believe something major will happen at the olympics to set the ball in motion.

I've listened to a LOT of stuff from Terrence Mckenna (as I'm sure many people posting here have). I was totally obsessed with the stuff he said about different states of conscienness during my final year of university in fact! But, I always found the stuff about 2012 the least interesting of what he had to say. And also, I didn't find it particularly convincing. The theory is a very interesting mental excercise and nothing more in my opinion, and it distracts from a lot of the much more interesting things he had to say. Then again, maybe he'd encountered something in his pchychedelic travels which I can't yet comprehend, and I just don't 'get' it yet. Anything's possible. As for the apocalyptical stuff I've heard about 2012, I've got no time for it to be honest. We may well be heading for an 'apocalypse', but it won't be a sudden event, but a gradual decline caused by global warming, overpopulation, and depleting recources. It won't be any fun. If anything, hoping for this one transformative event is probably counter-productive, it will only result in dissapiontment. What I'd like to happen on that date is that everyone who considers themselves to be connected to it in any way simply comes together and does something to build towards a brighter future, and wakes up feeling that a new epoch has begun. Then it could end up being a sort of self-fulfulling prophecy, which would be neat.

On 11:11am 21 December 2012. The only people left on Earth will be TPTB. These greedy people are storing their seeds and building their underground bases/bunkers in preparation for a tragic Event. They will hide like cowards.If your not rich your not coming in they'll say. Our Off planet ancestors will show themselves to us and shortly start to migrate us normal people off this Beautiful place to another heavenly place. They will leave behind those people who have no feelings for anyone else but themselves (TPTB)

Christmas day will be spent with thousands of new family and Friends. On New Years eve. We can look up into the night sky at the strike of 12 midnight and see the fireworks in the Sky. This will be the last we see of our beloved Earth. 2013 everyone will live in Harmony with each other on a new Earth.

My life has been mated with many impossible things using those events I from personal facts.
