Kenyan official: Obama born in KENYA

I have to wonder why this keeps coming back. I seriously doubt it's because 'birthers' keep paying to have these articles published. Logically, what would all these Kenyans have to gain from continuously saying that he was born there? National pride? Ok. Anything else? I'm kinda drawing a blank. There may be some kind of tourist monies to be made, but I can't imagine it being so much that these peoples would repeatedly lie to get it. It seems like the Kenyan peoples, as well as members of their government, think that he was born there. Now I am aware of how misinformation can quickly spread until it is widely believed to be the truth. Yet, again, what would be the point of spreading such info amongst the Kenyans themselves?

Good post! and I see all the Obama of Kenyan Birth truth denier idiots came out in mass (hey they immediately label anyone who cites the evidence as birthers so I can label them too) and started repeating their tired ridiculous mantras of denial. They want the thread to devolve into arguing rather then deal with the mountain of facts and evidence that Obama is Kenyan born.

What many are missing though is that Obama is not President of the United States of America he is CEO of the US Corporation which is posing as lawful government. That is why they don't care if he is Kenyan born they appointed him president just like any corporation and that is that. But most still think they voted him in...

Hopefully the Armed forces and the people are waking up and realizing he is not thier commander and Chief and what he says and does really has no force on the men and women of the land.

You should really read what is being posted. The two articles make up the original AP article that make no mention of Obama. The same AP article from the Kenyan newspaper was modified to add in 'Kenyan born Obama'. AP themselves never put that in, it was some undisclosed individual who did not bother to put his or her name to it. So again its a matter of what 'he/she' said, not what the Associated Press said that folks continue to reference here. Get it?

Which proves it more so as people were less informed about Obama and his history. This individual typed 'kenyan born' into an AP article without referencing any sources, and yet birthers are jumping around. It was an assumption again based on ignorance, and him being Kenyan makes no difference. Its as if everybody who is Kenyan has access to Obama's birth records? Really? Come back to earth will ya?

In addition to that there are much more articles before the elections clarifying Obama as Hawaiian born. You cannot pick and choose which to believe and which not to.

We are very willing to accept a president that has never showed a BIRTH CERTIFICATE of the nation he was born to get the highest job in our country.

I have to be honest, I read most of this thread but couldn't stomach the entire thing.

A few things occur to me.

- Aren't there more important things to be focusing our time and energy on than being made to look absolutely foolish perpetuating this crap?

You're genuinely not aware that fresh copies of your birth certificate can be purchased from your State any time you like?
You can contact your own state now, online, and buy them by the thousand if you want.

However, if your birthplace is Hawaii, you will only have one type available to buy, and that is the type Obama has shown in your picture.

You seem to overlook that you're the one with the outlandish claims.

People who believe Obama was born in Hawai base their opinion on the presented evidence which was fully scrutinised and deeemed to be strong enough to win him the election.

People who believe he was born elesewhere dont have any evidence and rely on hearsay, rumour and unwarranted suspicion .

It's amazing how Obama seems to struggle to get things done when he's President but when he was just a Senator he had entire states and Govt. covering his tracks, faking certifiates and lying on his behalf.

He doesnt have to do or respond to anything and that is exactly what he has been doing. If its not the fact that he is Kenyan born that he is hiding, then we should ask ourselves what is it then. I for one would rather believe that it is his birth certificate than some of the other things my imagination comes up with.
