what about this....

The Pleiades (pronounced /ˈpliːədiːz/ or /ˈplaɪədiːz/), also known as M45, the Seven Sisters, Seven Stars, SED, Matariki (New Zealand), or Subaru (Japan), is an open cluster in the constellation of Taurus.

Wasn't there something about seven light and seven lampstands...or something like that in the bible?

Aldebaran is a K5III star, which means it is orangish, large, and has moved off the main sequence

sounds like planet X to me....

what do you think?

Thought I would look up some info on scorpions and I found this, which I find to be VERY interesting. :
"Scorpions are also known to glow when exposed to certain wavelengths of ultraviolet light such as that produced by a blacklight, due to the presence of fluorescent chemicals in the cuticle. The principal fluorescent component is now known to be beta-Carboline."

Then I looked up beta-carboline and found this:
"β-carboline alkaloids are widespread in plants and animals, and frequently act as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI). As components of the liana Banisteriopsis caapi, the β-carbolines harmine, harmaline, and tetrahydroharmine play a pivotal role in the pharmacology of the psychedelic brew ayahuasca. Some β-carbolines, notably tryptoline and pinoline, are formed naturally in the human body. The latter is implicated along with melatonin in the role of the pineal gland in regulating the sleep-wake cycle"

Ayahuasca is used for shamanic, folk-medicinal, and religious purposes. It contains '___', also known as the spirit molecule. I read a whole book about a study that was approved by the government on the experiences of people taking the drug. They saw aliens, reptilians, answers to the universe, & other wordly realms. It was quite interesting.

Wikipedia cites other names given to it as: "ayahuasca" or "ayawaska" in Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru, also to a lesser extent in Brazil ("vine of the dead" or "vine of souls": in Quechua, aya means "spirit," "ancestor," or "dead person," while waska means "vine" or "rope").

Another interesting parallel is that it effects the pineal gland. It got it's name from the pinecone because that is what it is shaped like. It is symbolized in history and if you look around, there are a lot of strange recurrences of pine cones on staffs, sculptures, etc. It's also interesting to note that the pineal is in the middle of the brain, right between your eyes. The third eye. I think there is a video on youtube that goes into this even more, but he ties the Vatican into to, which again, is interesting.

At any rate, maybe the scorpion references are to this drug or the visions seen while under its influence. Maybe the Scorpion King was the visionary who used the drug and got his commands or orders while on it. Just some thoughts, but I find it interesting how something as simple as a scorpion tied into videos and books I have been reading. Connecting the dots in my mind....

just checked its seven stars and seven lampstands...

Here's more

The Pleiades (/ˈplaɪədiːz/, also /ˈpliːədiːz/), (in Greek, Πλειάδες /pleiˈades/, Modern /pliˈaðes/), companions of Artemis, were the seven daughters of the titan Atlas and the sea-nymph Pleione born on Mount Cyllene. They are the sisters of Calypso, Hyas, the Hyades, and the Hesperides. The Pleiades were nymphs in the train of Artemis, and together with the seven Hyades were called the Atlantides, Dodonides, or Nysiades, nursemaids and teachers to the infant Bacchus.

The seven sisters were called Atlantides...Atlanteans anyone...?

lots of sevens, that's the problem.
seven gates.
seven heads of the dragon.
seven churches.
seven candlesticks.
seven days in a week.
seven being the number of perfection, is also the number of God, symbollizing completion

Here's all I could find:

and a photo of the colliery w/unknown date:

There is not much mention of history other than the mines and railroads, but there are several towns with star in their name. (Star, Star Cross, Starbratton)

Although I did find this ironic.

well you'd be talking in riddles to me since i don't know how you're arriving at some of your commentary about my current state of being. not sure how you're coming to your conclusions and not sure what you think you're doing. if you're obtuse or missing specific detail in your accusations, you can well imagine that it's going to be confusing to me. this will not fly. either be straight forward, or leave the parables to jesus.

let me give you an example: if i say to you, reconpilot, your propensity to eat ham sandwiches is adding dangerously to your cholesterol levels, you'd be wondering:
1) how i came to that conclusion
2) why i didn't add details such as, i noticed you eat ham sandwiches every day when you mentioned it before in this thread
3) if i have a camera in your house to watch you eat so i can criticize your dietary habits.

in other words, you'd be a bit confused by my lack of detail on such a personal topic. and rightly so.

i think you're on to something important here.
i was just pondering the description of jesus in revelation, as the LAMB of God.
it dawned on me that a ram is a male sheep, which in its younger days is a lamb. this lead me to aries as a constellation, which lead me to mars (another name for aries). i don't know what it means yet, but i can assure you i will find out, somehow, someway! (God willing, of course!)

THAT is a good question... considering we use so few of them now it might be amazing what we could do if they were all unlocked. The series uses the "ancient gene' as a work around to accessing the technology and they found a way to recreated that with an injection... the 4400 touches on that though in a slightly different way...

So WHO holds the key to that locked DNA?

That's right, I didn't think of that! Could Mars be a place where the atlanteans settled?

Look at this...

If one follows the three stars of Orion's belt from left to right (in the Northern Hemisphere) or right to left (in the Southern), the first bright star found by continuing that line is Aldebaran.

If the pyramids really do line up with Orions belt then here's another connection to me that validates Atlanteans influenced the construction of the pyramids.

In Rev. it talks about the 144,000...

The Great Pyramid was constructed of granite overlaid with 144000 white limestone slabs cut to optical precision

Jesus was a light being and in Stargate Atlantis the ancients turned into light beings. I think the pyramids were built to turn people into light beings.

Orion's Belt is called Drie Konings (Three Kings) by Afrikaans speakers in South Africa [4], and French les Trois Rois (the Three Kings) in Daudet's Lettres de Mon Moulin (1866). The appellation Driekoningen (the Three Kings) is also often found in 17th- and 18th-century Dutch star charts and seaman's guides.

Three Kings anyone....lol

Also...

Orion historically has had other names, perhaps the earliest known is the Babylonian "Shepherd of Anu", corresponding to an apparent representation of the constellation Auriga or an element of it, as a shepherd's crook.

Shepher of ANU...... annunaki

which connects my above....plante X nibiru post.

Z...."erase" feature???

See, this is why newbies like me have trouble....I can't understand any of the post I just 'replied' to

I've seen the 'ignore' button....I can read English, and understand the word 'ignore'....but, I've never used that particular button in my short time here at ATS

ANYWAYS....not sure which post 'undo' got upset about...I hate those darn quotation marks!!

As to StarGates....I am absolutely enthralled, fascinated....and the more I read on these ATS threads....not just the ones about StarGates....I see references all the time.

Hey! Sign me up! I'll go!

Sorry for seeming distracted....even on a Saturday, the house renovations continue...it's like living in a construction zone. Should get out, and go see a movie....

Here's some more interesting things about Aldebaran...

In the religion of Stregheria, Aldebaran is a fallen angel and quarter guardian of the eastern gate.

and...

Aldebaran was thought to be a possible origin point for the Übermensch (superman) in Nazi mysticism.

and...

For the Dakotas (a branch of the Native American Sioux tribe), Aldebaran took on a heroic aspect. The young star was the child of the sun and the lady Blue Star. One day, he desired to hunt the white buffalo (the Pleiades). After he pulled up a sapling to make a spear, a hole was made in the ground and he could see all the people of Earth down below. The white buffalo took this chance to push him through. He was found by an old woman and was to be known as Old Woman's Grandson. On Earth, he killed many strange monsters that had been troubling the Native Americans; one monster of which was a serpent that caused drought. The young hero killed the serpent, releasing a great stream of water that became the Mississippi River. In time, Old Woman's Grandson remembered the white buffalo and returned to hunting him in the sky to fulfill his destiny.

Wasn't 'Alderbaran' the place they went to in the iconic movie "Forbidden Planet"

Leslie Nielson starred....some have attributed this film to inspiring Gene Roddenberry to creat 'Star Trek'

It was revolutionary, in it's day (mostly crappy low-budget science fiction).

Guess it can be laughed at, now....but for it's day, quite extraordinary.

So....who is to say? Does fiction mirror reality, or vice-versa?

khnum, the ram-headed god of egypt... this has got to be an egyptian rendition of jehovah or yeshua as creator.
they began to worship the ram because of its association with khnum, so during the story of the exodus, the israelites brought a lamb and symbollically lead it through the streets of egypt, and later sacrificed it, placing its blood upon the lintels of their homes (this is the passover). so yeah, here we have the lamb of God, yet again.
however, khnum was not associated with war. he was the creator god, who formed the first people from "clay." i will get back with data on the etymology of the word
