To me, it shows that there is going to be something coming over the horizon and it will get hard.
This timing coming up soon I think has more believability than at any other time in our known past.
It is time to take this a bit more seriously. I just wish I knew where it would safe for my family.
Thoughts?

Curious to know where that figure comes from. I thought a generation was commonly considered to be somewhere between 20-25 years. Biblically, maybe approximately 40?

The life span of man in the Bible ranges from 0 to 900 or so during the time of Abraham but what has become the average life span of man or optimal life span is referred in the Bible as 120 years.

Yeah, there is a LOT of prophesies.
A. We all know about the Mayan prophesies and its calendar that points to a change for man at the end of 2012.
B. Then, on the other side of the planet, we have St Malachi's prophesies. As most know, he predicted all future popes with good accuracy. According to him, we are on our last good pope.
...It would be impossible for the Mayan and the Malachi prophesies to coordinate the timing from so far in the past. It is uncanny that these two events are about to coincide....
C. It is time to take this a bit more seriously. I just wish I knew where it would safe for my family.

St Malachy predicts that Pope JohnPaul II's successor will be an active peace-making member of the religious heirarchy. But he will die in 2008 with his work unfinished and the next pope- called Peter of Rome (Peterus Romanus) will rule until the Apocalypse in 2020.
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

As for where in the bible it is decreed that man should live for 120 years, it can be found near the begining of the Old Testament. In Genesis 6:3
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
The actual decline though of mankind's lifespan is recorded in the bible not to have started until after the Flood. God decried this to be so when Noah had reached the age of 500. For a good timeline of this (unless you wish to read Genesis 11:10-32 would be God's Limit on Man's Years

Monkey wrench: en.wikipedia.org... Jeanne Calment lived to be 122. 21 February 1875 – 4 August 1997
edit: But I am in the 2012 camp. And the St. Malachi prediction coincidence is spooky.
