The fact is that Smith has spent the best part of the last 2 years spouting anti-Trump opinions which he regularly stated as facts - destroying the integrity of what is supposed to be a breaking news show. He then did his teary eyed farewall in true drama queen fashion, staging his big exit without telling his colleagues. It was a pathetic sight.

I never watched him. If I wanted a negative biased spin on the Trump administration I could just go to CNN ABC CBS etc. I want to listen to a conservative reality. The DNC outlook on life is such a downer. FOX is mostly conservative with a few bad apples.

Ironically it comes from things like this thread topic. The entertainment media is on a path of exponential polarization.

Most people who consume it eventually adopt the viewpoints, rhetoric, and take it for face value.

You know, I was just looking at a post on fb about the Yellowstone Caldera and there were people on there saying let it blow because “humans are garbage” and so on. It’s very sad ... such self loathing.. and the radicals have created that.

Was it as pathetic as Keith Olbermann using his dying dad on his show to push the Obamacare death Act on Americans ? I stopped watching that network then, can’t even remember which one he worked for.

I wouldn't say Smith was as far left as they come, he seemed moderate left at best for your point.
