That is horrible! You should get together with your co-workers and demand to have one! That isn't healthy or fair and just shows their lack of humanity. I hope you don't have any diabetics working with you. It is essential for them not to skip meals. I would be light headed and nauseas if I went that long without eating.

It's only a couple of us that take the brunt of this. We get slammed all day long while the rest of the guys take a ride on easy street.

Trust me, there is no getting together and fixing this.

I was once told by a very wise man; " Do the common thing ... uncommonly well ".

Dad had a stroke about 7 years ago.

He is still with us, yet greatly missed.

That can backfire. At one place, they told me they couldn't find anyone as fast to do that particular job. I rebelled and wasn't quite as fast anymore. They finally got the hint and I ended up with the position I wanted. And...I mostly worked in factories and being the best did a job on my back.


I suppose it depends on who you work for and how they treat their employers. The last place I was employed at, had a great deal of respect for its workers.

Midsummer day going on, as midsummer eve was yesterday.

I took it easy. Five beers yesterday, none today. Just some pizza and coffee and also did my laundry.

Quite boring huh? Well at least i am not in a hangover and i have plenty of clean clothes.

And in the UK, some hippies, druids and other weirdos waited at Stonehenge to welcome the dawn. The sun rises over the "heel stone" once a year. Some other people, not all silly English people; apparently many come from other countries, tried to run down a steep hill (Coopers Hill in the UK) chasing a round cheese (I believe Cheddar) that was also rolling down said hill. The winner gets the cheese but the cheese usually wins.

The longest day has passed. Winter is coming....

Winter is coming? Boo, hiss! No way! Too many months of dreary. I'm enjoying the comfortable weather and opened windows, flowers and trees. I bought another mint plant and lemon thyme. I wanted a rosemary plant or something different, but I was surprised at how limited the herbs were where I got them. Maybe I'll check another place next week.

Here it is very easy to lose your job. All they have to say is you aren't a good fit for the team or your work isn't up to standards; basically make something up.

The only reason I haven't been fired yet is because my work is always decent, even when I rebel hehe.

I'm staying here as long as I can so that when the ship goes down hopefully it'll be easier to find similar work.
