I must agree. I have found myself in a different realm.

And I can see where conditioning, and cultural values relate to what I see around me.

It can be very sad. But I am an optimist.

Good morning!

5 AM, my usual time to wake up. Sometimes it is frustrating because shops are closed and friends sleep but it is ok now, i have everything i need and more.

To be completely honest, no, i am not

But this was a good night. Sometimes i feel like my sleep is somehow shallow and i wake up more tired than i was when i went to bed. This time i drifted to far away lands.

I have noticed that we have similar taste in music. I like to post hard rock and metal, thinking of you.

The ankle is walkable but hurts a bit and was swollen when I awoke today

Have any plans for the day?

Friday is midsummer day. It is quite a big deal in Finland. People who don't normally drink, drink on midsummer day, may day and new years eve. I like to make a "fortress move" (chess term) and be at home or at friends place. Please do not take this as some "drunk elitism" but strange things happen when people who don't normally drink, start drinking heavily.

I told my friend that i will buy a 24 pack of beer, big roast and seasoned french fries and he can have half of them.

Not much plans. I think my friend ran out of cigarettes and i was thinking of helping him out, if i do, i will get a nice walk. Good mix of urban area and forest paths.

A walk sounds wonderful. I sat outside when I got up this morning/afternoon and it was heavenly. The weather was perfect and sunny, I read for a while sipping coffee. There was a light summer breeze and I even had a beautiful cardinal sing me a song. Such a beautiful bird!

Yeah, you are very fortunate that you have a porch and a nice relationship with neighbour. I have a balcony, but i haven't been there for weeks. A small plastic buddha statue is there guarding the place. I have been thinking of putting some herbs there, it would be so nice to just pick some fresh, own-grown herbs from my balcony when i cook.

I have herbs out on the porch. So far I have two basil plants, thyme and lemon thyme. Oh and Spearmint! I want to get rosemary and other plants soon. I love herbs!
