That is quite true. The Spanish certainly drew a line proper style back in the day as did the Hingarians. Those days as you say are long gone. By having Empires and the inevitable movement of people within them things have sort of come bak to bite us as a consequence.

The spread of Islam is what those in charge want. The globalist or zionists or whatever name you want. They want it to propagate so everyone will follow along like good little worshipers. Everyone would look the same, chant the same and if they fell out of line they would be dealt with. It is not that they are not peace loving, they are in their own right, but it is about submission to an ideology and culture that not even all Muslims adhere to. Just like any religion but in the case of Islam it is not just a religion. It is a guide to build nations and a set of laws that would control those regions they would pour in to. If you create socialism and chaos, not democracy, you breakdown people who had freedom and control them. It was happening in the US and man the world is trying so hard to shame us because we want to be who we were once before.

A country who did accept everyone who wanted to live by the rules of our country. Our laws. Our Constitution. Iran in the 50's was gorgeous. Lebanon at one time was not war torn nor was Syria. Iraq. An over a 1000 year old war is what the rest of the world is in the middle of with the Shia/Sunni break and the other sects. The killing of Sadat I will always feel, based on the history I read, the first 'modern day' salvo in this war that is raging now and 9/11 is when the west was brought into the fray.

WW2 did not break the world and the US became stronger. Now, it is again a time to try to control the worlds population and to me, the spread and the implementation of Islam around the globe is the easiest way for those who want the control to do it. Create fear. Fear leads to complacency and acceptance for safety.
