Well this demiurge has you fooled into following a Roman Empire Ver 2 like a good sheep. Remember the shepherd usually has fattens the sheep up for slaughter.

TRUST AND OBEY FOR THERE'S NO OTHER WAY TO BE HAPPY IN JESUS BUT TO TRUST AND OBEY.

Why should I trust an innocent man that was made a scapegoat for Adam?

LOT better than being slaves to the selfish ruthlessness of hedonism.

Hedonism is fun in measured doses - only you choose whether to be a slave to it - free will and all that....hehe

He does insist on responding in His own ways and His own time. And it's usually in ways that still provide a measure of a requirement for faith while also providing a fairly strong indication that HE IS THERE.

Ah but Job had faith...and yet he kept suffering and suffering - hahaha

Well they're on their own journey. Some go through hell during life. I only have to live with myself and am not responsible for their choices.
What annoys me is this judgmental mindset tough. No clue what they're talking about but screaming louder than their own mind.

Cant blame them really, having to put up with crazed religious people for so long, pity they cant identify their actions mirror those they oppose
Anything, and I mean anything to justify our natural selves, me to sadly

nature doesnt give a damn about justification. justification is a uniquely human urge, a direct consequence of accusation or prosecution which is also a uniquely human urge. Ronan the Accuser from that marvel movie is an unfortunately apt description for some of these theological models. Could Chris Pratt be construed as the Fallen Angel in such a context? Perhaps we 'Xandarians' would have been better off if he had been a little quicker on his feet like in the movie. Where is Kevin Bacon when you need him?

Morals is relative, don't get carried away from emotions, no fear, no hate...
Thanks for the book recommendation.
Do you know the Alchemist, Paulo Coelho? Also pretty good.

God/Universe never abandons us, it just is. We lose our connection with God by being distracted with video games, gambling, movies, tv shows, phones, apps, drugs, alchohol, sports, sex, porn, eating junk etc.

We change the paradigm when we take away Abraham. All of his Religions and Gods are false. The Jews, the Muslims and the Christians...all were deceived by Abraham.

are they really opposing though? or are they complementary? since neither can thrive without the other, doesn't it make more sense if they work hand in hand, rather than fist to fist?

Darth Vader was the Star Wars version of professor Snape

Poor Snape, used by all, double-crossed by all, never got what he wanted: Lily.

I think Snape is much easier to sympathize with than Darth Vader. Obe Wan should not have walked away from Anakin Skywalker after he was all cut up and defeated, he should have just kicked him into the lava. But that's just my opinion. Of course, being a prequel, could never happen.

I asked because if this universe is an app then any shift to the dark side here wouldn't affect the world outside the simulation.

Actually there is no argument why we should not get carried away by emotions. Don't you get carried away by KOTOR? Get pumped and get lost in the game?

You could say that that is what we are here to do.

Honestly

If any of these christian; islam, Catholic ended up to be real, i would be absolutly gutted. There is no way i would worship a god like that.

I think more and more people are turning away from religon because as we move foward, and we understand more about the universe , its quite clear that these books are man made, by primitive people. Hence the reason why these books are filled with hate, rape, muder and sacrifices.

But believers tend to cherry pick these books to their own liking

You stated as we move forward

Move forward? Move forward into what?

Apparently you're one who lives the cliche ignorance is bliss,
and has never read or ever watched any news reports for the
last 30 years
