Trailer parks like GHETTO's are mixed races.

However they get described as 'trailer trash' by so many.

The funny part there is most 'ghetto's' are in predominately urban socialist utopia's.

IMO?

Owning a trailer in a trailer park paying a few hundred dollars rent a month is admirable compared to those who lost their homes because they were so educated that they were foolish enough to take on a 2nd or 3rd mortgage?

But hey, what do I know, I am uneducated because I am not complaining about taking on a huge debt for a worthless piece of paper?

Don't feel bad.

Apparently everyone that doesn't support a delusional, old, senile WHITE guy 'must' be ignorant, and 'un' educated.

But consider the source.

this thread should be shut down, bernies words got taken completely out of context

he was speaking about a conversation he had with a blm supporter who told him...

"You don't understand the degree to which we are terrorized. ... I'm just talking about everyday activities where police officers are bullying people," Sanders recounted the woman telling him.

"When you're white, you don't know what it's like to be living in a ghetto," Sanders concluded. "You don't know what it's like to be poor. You don't know what it's like to be hassled when you walk down the street or you get dragged out of a car. And I believe that as a nation in the year 2016, we must be firm in making it clear, we will end institutional racism and reform a broken criminal justice system."

So... you agree that this is racial pandering? Because that's exactly what it looks like to me, no matter how you try to spin it.

I agree it's pandering.

So does WIKI.

Pandering is the act of expressing one's views in accordance with the likes of a group to which one is attempting to appeal. The term is most notably associated with politics. In pandering, the views one is expressing are merely for the purpose of drawing support up to and including votes and do not necessarily reflect one's personal values.

Pandering is essentially a reaction of panic in elected officials who must either tailor their views to public opinion or risk losing their existing or potential seat.[1]

en.wikipedia.org...

Sanders knows he can't get the white vote. Clinton has that wrapped up.

So Sanders targets the next 'best' thing.

Whispering sweet nothings in to minorities ears, make them feel all warm and fuzzy in side.

Then screw them over without so much as a by your leave, or paying for dinner.

Pandering could be applied to any all politicians. It's so vague. Some are worse than others. Some have no value whatsoever such as "I love the poorly educated." That's pure pander vomit, whereas Bernie is talking about a very real problem of "institutional racism" and a "broken criminal justice system".

Oh, how I would LOVE to sit down and discuss my childhood with that idiot.

This one gaffe should cost him any chance he has left.

I've aired my dirty laundry on here before, I grew up VERY poor. We had it worse than most, because my mother was denied assistance. To quote the welfare worker..."I could get you help, if you were a minority."

I didn't like Sanders before, but I hate him now.

Might want to look at the previous page of the thread. Bernie was quoting what another person had said to him.

And the point is what ?

Considering Sanders himself has been in power for decades. How can there be institutionalized 'racism' ?

Other than left wingers telling AA's how 'oppressed' they are after AA's have been voting for left wingers for over 50 years.

Now if the criminal justice system is broken then people like Sanders needs to stop writing so many LAWS.

The only thing politicians like Sanders do is manufacture issues to get votes.

Quoting how bad "rich whitey" is because some biased BLM activists told him so.

I bet he'll get their votes now.

Apparently Rush told them Bernie said... so now this is their reality. Not that it matters really, the greater context is entirely lost on them and they don't understand even that it causes them to short circuit let alone why. It explains so much about what's going on with Trump though. Did you see Takei's roast? Perfection.

No white person has ever experienced institutional racism? Joking right?

That's just as broad-stroked and inaccurate as Sander's statement. Not trying to start a debate or argument here, but that statement is patently false.

Two words: Affirmative Action (Special Recompense does not Equality make.) There's enough racism in that one policy alone to touch everyone's lives.

How many qualified whites have been passed up or disqualified for jobs, promotions, and higher learning because an institution is required to meet federal mandates for Affirmative Action?

It happens on a grand scale. Experienced, skilled, and reliable people denied opportunity to a less experienced/skilled person based on skin tone and/or gender. Institutionalized racism targets many groups, perpetuating and widening the racial divide.

Ever see how bureaucracy works in a predominantly black metropolitan area? Plenty of institutionalized racism to go all around there.

How is it that few whites understand and certainly no whites have ever experienced institutional racism?

Regarding Sander's statement:

What a tool. Is he trying to one-up trump on dumb things to say?

He's dead wrong... and a lot of people of all skin tones agree.

Anyone careless enough to make a statement like that has no business running a fast food franchise much less being the mouthpiece for a culturally diverse nation. He must be referring to the white people he knows personally.

When will people wake up and realize (or care) that campaigns and elections amount to dog & pony shows?

We are so F'd.

I already regret responding to this BS.
