this thread should be shut down, bernies words got taken completely out of context

he was speaking about a conversation he had with a blm supporter who told him...

"You don't understand the degree to which we are terrorized. ... I'm just talking about everyday activities where police officers are bullying people," Sanders recounted the woman telling him.

"When you're white, you don't know what it's like to be living in a ghetto," Sanders concluded. "You don't know what it's like to be poor. You don't know what it's like to be hassled when you walk down the street or you get dragged out of a car. And I believe that as a nation in the year 2016, we must be firm in making it clear, we will end institutional racism and reform a broken criminal justice system."

This thread isn't about what the BLM supporter told him. This thread is about what Bernie said in the debate after asked what kind of racial blindspots he has.

His answer included "When you’re white, you don’t know what it’s like to be living in a ghetto. You don’t know what it’s like to be poor. You don’t know what it’s like to be hassled when you walk down the street or you get dragged out of a car". This is what came out of Bernie Sander's mouth.

Our ruling

Sanders says that "when you're white ... you don't know what it's like to be poor." On the contrary -- the most recent figures show that nearly 20 million white Americans are experiencing poverty. While that’s smaller as a percentage than it is for other racial and ethnic groups, that’s still a lot of people. In raw numbers, it’s actually more than any other group. We rate his claim False.

Bernie Sanders wrong to say, 'When you're white ... you don't know what it's like to be poor'

Why does Sanders IGNORE medicare, and medicaid.

That account for over 100 million people.

Created specially for the poor.

But we are not 'civilized'.

Not upset. It's annoying, similar to a bad tv commercial.

Are you here to play the role of advertiser for whats on TV?

Wait, nope...

Can't get beyond you likening affirmative action to institutional racism against white people.

You don't watch the MSM much do you? I'd be happy to provide you some very sound statistics on the amount of coverage provided to Bernie Sanders on all three networks compared to the amount of coverage compared to every other candidate:

2016 Presidential Media Blackouts: Not Just Conspiracy

On Saturday night when he won 2 states they barely showed his face on TV. You know who DOES get the most coverage? Trump by far.

The point is you went to the trouble of copying and pasting the definition of pandering. I hope you've done that for every candidate of all parties, because it pretty much applies to all politicians. The point is, it's a meaningless thing to paste.

Because the US has a different legislative process.

Because the US has different regulatory system.

And most important. The value of European currency doesn't have the same value as the dollar.

When the pound, and the Euro have more value than the US dollar.

Of course 'cost' is lower.

Sanders was pandering to the auidence telling them Europe has lower 'healthcare' costs.

What he leaves out is Europe, and the US have different currency values, and totally DIFFERENT systems of government.

They maybe be called 'democracy', but that is about it.

When two things that are exactly alike then they can be compared.

Who do I vote for now?

I was starting to like bernie because he was willing to say something about big banks and walstreet. Now he is going full "libtard" with racism and anti-guns.

This race is such a joke.
