yea right another armchair expert, explain the woman that went to hospital and underwent surgery,how do you suppose that they made her shut up.
plus you see videos all the time where people run after being shot that never show any signs of being hit.

Although i do agree with your view on him shooting blank bullets, i do not agree with your scenario, how long was it before police would have arrived after it happend live ?

The rage that is simmering below the surface in America right now is like a blow-off relief valve, but soon it's not going be enough to just vent but a full explosion is going to happen, and it's going to be very violent when it does, I am not sure how far away we are from it, but it will make the LA riots look tame.

I have a theory, heavy violence in entertainment combined with zero morality code is producing people with no ethics.
It's producing morally bankrupted people and it's not that much of a drop from one form of depravity to another, we just think it is, but really it is a path that once you start down it; it's like gravity from a black hole it pulls you.
We think we can control it but we can't.

Sort of like the dark side in Star Wars, what did that wise green guy say, once you start down that path it will dominate your destiny. This has happened all over America, lack of morality has sent people down the path of the Dark Side, of coarse it won't always end in murder like this, but it is the side effect for some who can't handle it.

of course gun are used to kill people, so are other things.

the guy was pissed, not the gun. he pulled the trigger, not the gun decided it wanted to go off.
a gun is a tool, just as anything else. lets say he came with a hammer, being 6 foot something 250 something or more he could have easily beat one if not two of them to death before the third had anytime to go get help. if you noticed there was not another soul in sight of the video the cameraman shot shot or the one the killer shot.

You are correct, there were no actual bullets fired. I saw that too. Makes it that much more curious to see the response on ATS. Looks like even YouTube started deleting videos for spam. Probably because any analyst can see it's not real.

People assume that real life is just like what they see on TV and the movies. People instantly fall over, blood sprays everywhere..ect, ect.

Hollywood has distorted what people think real life is like.

Perhaps there is a gun problem in America, however, there is also a mental health problem there as well. I feel if that problem was addressed and measures were taken to correct that issue, then whatever gun problems America has would significantly drop.

I'm not claiming to have a solution, yet, I do know that a gun ban/confiscation is not the answer as it simply would not work.

The answer (whatever that may be) has to uphold the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution first and foremost, that much I do know.

Otherwise, a dangerous precedent will have been set that would threaten other Amendments, like the 1st.

Technology is always advancing but just because a bullet is a "blank" doesn't mean nothing comes out of the barrel when it is fired. On the shooter's video, I didn't see evidence of anything, no wadding or anything coming out of the gun. To me that means real bullets, but I don't shoot personally and don't claim any sort of authoritative technical knowledge of the subject.
