There's always something to eat here as well so help Yourself!

Once You settle in, How about sharing a story or two? You can be assured You can also unload Your problems here as well. We have ALL helped one another in times of Sorrow, Need, or in Celebration of something Good!!

I for one, and I'm sure I speak for the Others here am Glad to see You!!

I just found a compliment from a member here in another thread, who said that she and another member used to lurk and read the acronym game thread (when I temporarily resided there)...and that they died laughing, and missed it when I went awol.
I thought that was so great!

I'm tired!
The hangover from last night has lifted a bit.
My old knees are playing up after I went for a walk to clear away the cobwebs this afternoon.
Chrissie's elderly dad is not doing well.
But, generally... I'm doing pretty good.
The boys are getting bigger by the minute - HELP!

I know... why don't you write something for me?
A shed story entry maybe? (Even just a wee one...) might distract you from the worries for a few minutes?

Being part of this 'sandwich generation'...where you're still looking after kids and also parents...it's hard.

I think, from what I can remember, I was following Night Star and we rounded a bend in the forest...I heard a limb break from the other direction and it startled me, as I looked back, and she was gone...

I saw a light in the distance, thought I heard some laughter...darkness had settled rather quickly and I hurried toward the sound/light...the door was open and there was a roaring fire. I was chilled and damp from the night air.

Anyway, here I am!

Chirp is still alive, and doing well, but I made a mistake, which for me is embarrassing.
(I am a birder, pfh)
He is a she. It is a Redpoll. Much more rare and how it got mixed up with the Chipping Sparrows I don't know.
There were no male Redpolls as far as I could see in the flock around the house. They have a distinctive rose color even in winter.

So Chirp is well, drinking in my hand, that was how I got a much closer look. Tomorrow I will go to town and find a proper cage.
