I'll see your Rottie Giant, and raise you one Tibetan Mastiff!

I shall hug him and squeeze him and call him George!! (A lot of that going on in this thread recently!! LOL)

Please feel free to group hug him... he'd probably not even notice us!!!

Now... do we have enough room in the Shed????

OMG (screech) Gordi, The Tibetan is on the top of "Dogs I want" list they are so primal and....Ok I won't go on and on. I may have failed to inform that I am a dog/horse nerd. At age thirteen I got hold of copy of a vets "Anatomy of the Horse". I read it as a novel.
You look different in that picture

Oh Martin that is so sad. I don't have any wise words of consolation and I refuse to say tomorrow will be better. So if you don't mind I will just sit quietly with you.

Jacy, is Sophie a ferret?
I am way too late for the morning crowd but how about some nice tea and cookies and a story before bed time.
If I tell you a terribly boring tale you may fall a sleep. I could read a manual for assembling something very complicated, that would knock you out.

"Remove plastic before attempting to begin assembly......"

Thanks. I will save those Owls the picture and the saying is beautiful.
I'll have to look into the hair jewel making thing, that is interesting.

I didn't make it to the Big One, but hay dreaming is wonderful I'm never disappointed when it doesn't manifest, because I've had the joy of dreaming.
If I may join you by the ocean I will build fabulous sand castles decorated with sea shells, whilst I get a wonderful tan.
The fairies could certainly help construct them. Gardens? Would you create gardens? Ahh
I used to be able to call seals, they are so cute. By the ocean, yes that would be nice.

Sophie is Jacy's pet ferret. I used to have one that looked just like it. Here is a pic of a ferret that isn't mine, but looks just like her. I miss that funny and adorable little creature!
The thing with ferrets is that they don't have a very long life span.

OMG, I love seals! So cute! So yeah, by the ocean it is!

Ahhh, then Night and yourself would have LOVED the Shed Gathering we had at my holiday place a couple of summers ago!
(There are some small islands called "The Eilans" just off the main Island, and they are chock full of Seals! You can sit and watch them from the main beach (Newton Sands).)

Once, I was out on my windsurfer when the wind died away to nothing.
I was about 1/2 mile off shore, on a beautiful calm summers day, with not another single person in sight!
So, I just lay back on my board, staring at the blue sky and drifted for a few minutes (waiting for the breeze to pick up).
You can imagine the fright that I got when someone SNEEZED!!! Right behind my head!!!!

I jumped up and whipped my head around to see who had managed to sneak up on me and.... it was a Seal!
He had just popped his head up to check me out, got within about 10 feet of me, then SNEEZED!!
I couldn't stop laughing!! BUT - What a fright he gave me at the time!!!

@WIS - You should take a look at the thread we made to celebrate our Shed Gathering!

Good morning to all. Happy Friday!

I got up early and made some treats for everyone.

I hope everyone likes bacon?

And some coffee and tea.

Gordi,

Great story! I'll bet that was abit startling. I probably would have screamed and scared the poor thing. LOL!!

We have had fish jump right next to the boat and that is surprising when it happens. But for it to happen in the ocean? OMG, where's my blood pressure medication.!!! LOL!!

Ha ha !

Had the same thing where I live - before I sold my boat ( whole other story ) ...

I had a mate out with me to lay out some crab traps and have a bit of fish.

Similar story; mate heard a noise - spun around to find myself face to face with a well whiskered seal.
We sort of eyeballed each otter for a second - then - plonk - down and gone.

My close encounter with a humpback whale off the rocks where my mate and I were fishing ,
or the Dolphins that were so common in the bay ...

I won't talk about my time in the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef.

Unless prompted.

This has been a paid ' Tourism Australia' - advertisement.
