Plus it works both ways, China is also vital to the US and EU, and China holds vast quantities of US debt.

If China goes to war with US I'm sure the US won't be paying back that $1.3 trillion dollars it owes them...hahaha

Not every nation in the world puts money as their single highest interest in the way the US and some others do.....

Hopefully, it hasn't come time to find that by miscalculation.

I can't help but be reminded by China's Moon rover pic that had the Nuclear Bomb in the background.

They don't need to, it's $1.4 trillion in treasury bonds, they can be sold to anyone. China has to get dollars to buy US goods, which compared to other countries they don't buy a massive amount, however the US has to have Yuan in order to buy the huge amount of Chinese goods it purchases.

The economics is even more messed up than the politics

Can you explain this picture a little bit more? I've never seen this before, what was the purpose of it?

"A simple background image has retrospectively stolen the limelight at China’s exhibit for its recently deployed Yutu moon rover: It appeared to show an enormous mushroom cloud hovering over Eastern Europe, indicating a continent under nuclear attack."

Thank you sir! That is totally bizarre... At first I thought maybe someone photoshopped that image in, but damn, China did this for some odd reason...

I know some believe that the World Wars we see are planned out long in advance and sometimes subtle signs (usually led by arrogance) are given (ie. Illuminati- if you believe it)... But damn, that's just crazy...

China and Russia do joint military exercises, they have been allies for a while now. They have a common enemy, China does not want Ukraine to turn to Europe, so Russia going in to reinstall a deposed president gives China the wiggle room they need to justify allowing it to happen, don't think for a second Bejing didn't know this was happening in advance.

www.scmp.com...

China and russia are not allies there competitors with some mutual interests. But in the end China will not back Russia because china holds many of those same interests with the west as well. The joint military exercise was one war game after signing an oil agreement and it wasnt friendly. Moscow is also wary of Beijing's might. Russia has not backed Chinese claims to territory in the South China Sea. China, in turn, has refused to recognize the pro-Moscow breakaway Georgian regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. All Central Asian states except for Uzbekistan traded more with Beijing than Moscow. Putin's efforts to establish a Eurasian Economic Union is largely an attempt to limit Chinese economic dominance of the region. They continue to bicker over the prices of oil sales both sides are unhappy with the agreement. China may see this as a way of getting back at Putin so dont assume China in any way will back Russia when everything they want can be gained through Ukraine as well.

Just had the eeriest feeling about the Ukraine situation, then this flashed across my mind, quickly went on to Google Earth and made this comparison. I was like whoa!.. Is this synchronicity or pure coincidence?

It's pretty damn close to Ukraine & Russia, I guess if a world war broke out both places could be targets if things got out of hand... Great find nevertheless. I just don't see why China would include that in the picture, it just doesn't make sense to me.

Hope it's just rumour !

There are unconfirmed reports of a large mass of Russian troops and military vehicles on the border of Russia and Ukraine, according to a Kiev-based Russian-language publication supportive of EuroMaidan protests.

Gordonua.com, a web news site maintained by the editor of Gordon Boulevard, says they have a report from a local resident that at the border post of Senkova in Chernihiv Region, there are a lot of Russian APCs and buses with soldiers concentrated on the Russian side of the border.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian border guards told Gordonua.com that they do not know what is going on, and they will act as they are ordered. “But they did let it be known that in the event of attack, they cannot withstand such a number of forces.”

Buses? Yea sure. Buses?

I don't think the Russian army will use buses to get around in!

I have to giggle nervously at the moment. The latest trend of.." pic's or it didn't happen " has been used a lot lately on ATS.
Now we have a pic of something that has not happened....yet!

Eta. Though the more I worry of the latest doom porn. The less credible it turns out to be....( nervous giggles )!

Well, if the Tsar bomba was detonated then I could see a cloud being that big...

Tsar Bomba

The resulting fireball had a radius of nearly 10,000 vertical feet and its 210,000 foot tall mushroom cloud reached into the stratosphere. The light generated by the reaction could be seen from over a 1,000 km and the force of its explosion registered a 5.0 on the Richter scale. The shock wave generated air pressures topping 300 PSI, circled the Earth thrice, and cracked windows 900 km away in Norway and Finland. Buildings in the abandoned town of Severny 55 km away were leveled—all of them—and upon later inspection, ground zero was reportedly the texture of a skating rink.
