Why not join?

Greetings to the members of ATS!

After perusing for a long while and repeatedly talking myself out of joining, I asked myself "why not?"

While there are many reasons to attempt to stay anonymous, I have to concede that there really is no anonymity anymore. Also, without joining, I couldn't participate and I have had some potentially constructive contributions that are lost to the ages as a result.

I encourage all who find themselves here with a spark in their heart and many doubts in their brain to step up. Who knows how we might help "the conversation" but, we can be assured, silence never solved anything.
