CIA admits total monitoring of Facebook and Twitter.

ATS is likely a rich source of knowledge for intelligence agencies. I don't blame them for checking stuff out here to be honest, I know I would if I was doing that for a living. We certainly are not going to get this kind of discussion from the msm message boards.

Also nice job politicization and assuming there. As if watching facebook means you caused and paid for a revolution, or that you have power over it. Yes yes, of course. The CIA caused every political event in the last few decades. You can believe that if you want. Sure, people are really just lazy and every revolt is paid agents causing a ruckus. All billion of them.

I have said it many times: you can dump a billion dollars into it, but unless it is supported, it is useless. Funding source does not make a movement bad or good. Its members do. They have probably been recording everyone's private life through microphones, cell phones, web cameras, etc etc for years now. Just imagine that.

You think oh I can go outside away from these technologies and have some privacy, but are you so sure? How advanced really are spy satellites these days? Can they look through your walls even with infrared or other spectrum when you are in your bedroom?

Of course we already knew that, but by the first time CIA admits the existence of a secret facility for exclusive monitoring of social networks. Facebook and Twitter were the only mentioned, but we surely can add YouTube and a lot of forums where sensitive subjects are discussed and exposed.

I am quite surprised the Moderators let all these people run sock accounts without getting caught? Do they even check ip's or is there a game within being played? But there is indeed not one but 2 games being played here. But it is to be expected to ignore it and tell yourself otherwise is in fact ...crazy.


I even had a few run ins with some conintelpro people on youtube, they were running a campaign to flag videos that exposed certain content. Even youtube itself was censoring a lot of content by giving a copywright infringement excuse as the reason for removing a webcam video lol. But nothing comes close to the censorship being carried out of facebook. I guess they are admitting this because frankly ... the people will accept it and if they do take issue with it they will be 404'ed.

btw I am not knocking ATS or saying it is CIA funded, but there ARE sock puppets here and they even have a few Modertor accounts.

Not surprised at all. That is what they do. Well that and bring drugs into the US and supply the Black Market with various things and help with the false flags etc etc. The CIA pretty much runs the show. The BIG SHOW.

Anyone who thinks ANY of their information is safe online is a fool, and if they think Facebook, Myspace, Twitter or any of the other fad sites are safe, they're an even bigger fool. If you are 100% factual about your entire profile online, you should seek help. I have a facebook account, but it's not me. It's a fictitious name, etc. I only access it via proxy, and it was created with a disposable email address created the same way. It's all a big database for "someone" to find out anything they want about you. People should stop using these online data mining tools and stick to fourms. That's just my opinion.

I told my friend the other day they monitor us through facebook etc and he told me he didn't care because he doesn't do anything bad anyways. I told him thats the reason we are where we are right now because people dont care.

I will go on record and say a staff member was following me around on a certain social network even a unrelated youtube chan after i stepped on some toes "how they knew who i was was a mystery" unless they are working for a certain alphabet agency that does not like me and people i work with. Thing is i am not using my own ip. They also mentioned and hinted around things about me with a sock account here that they would not know unless they were what i just referred to. I mentioned something about myself related to a topic in a certain thread last summer and received a phone call from the state in regards to this topic? This was confirmation that "they" were trying to throw obstacles at me. And there is much more I am not at liberty to say here but I know a bit about them too. And that may be why I am still here hence a stalemate.

Well I mean the true question is why wouldn't they?? You can really figure a person out by looking at their facebook and creeping on their posts. They see you posting a lot about sports, well then they know you're a sports fan. They see you posting anti-goverment post, then they know you're anti-goverment. You list all of your favorite movies, books, musicians, and your religious beliefs. You have your prior and current work history there, what city your from and currently living in, and all of your close friends who they could also investigate. They even know who you are dating. If I was the CIA the first place I would go would be Facebook..
