Why is nobody talking about Donald Trump buying a Glock yesterday?

Is everyone aware this happened?

Trump went to an armory yesterday, with Marge Greene and her boyfriend, and found a Glock he liked with his face emblazoned on the handle. His spokesperson Steven Cheung posted on Xitter that Trump just bought a gun and posted a picture of it.

— Steven Cheung (@TheStevenCheung) September 25, 2023

Then he removed that post and said that Trump didn't actually buy a gun, but he just wanted to -- he was thinking about it. Other people who were there were excited to report that the former president just bought a Glock for $829.99.

Then, after all that, Marjory Taylor Greene and her partner Brian Glenn went on television to say that they confirm, they were with Trump when he bought the gun.

So we can confirm that President Trump got that gun today.

The Trump camp is sticking with the story that he didn't buy it.

What the heck is going on!? Did Trump just commit the same offense Hunter Biden did, purchasing a weapon while under a felony indictment? His spokespeople, other than Marge, seem to be scrambling to take it all back and say he did no such thing, but was any paperwork submitted for the purchase? That's usually electronically submitted, could have been done while he was there in the armory.

Chances are it was all just for show, just for appearances; what would Trump do with a gun anyway? Shoot someone on 5th Ave?

But what if he actually tried to buy one? Felony indictment #92?

I didn't read anything that he bought it.
I read that he was only shown the Glock.

An indictment is not the same as a conviction. Apples & oranges as you should know.

Indictment is covered on the federal firearm purchase form though, he is correct, that would be illegal for him to do

From the form "Are you under indictment or information in any court for a felony, or any other crime for which the judge could imprison you for more
than one year, or are you a current member of the military who has been charged with violation(s) of the Uniform Code of Military
Justice and whose charge(s) have been referred to a general court-martial?"

Kinda my thinking.
Not a felon currently.

Wasn't Biden already on probation for Drug use? (honestly not sure)

I'll say something about it.

The narrative being pushed by Trump's team was that he bought it. That is until CNN asked about the fact that it would be illegal for someone under felony indictment to be sold a gun or take possession of a gun that has crossed state lines.

Once that occurred, the narrative suddenly changed to Trump not buying the gun.

Although, fast forward to today and Trump retweeted a story about him buying the gun over on Truth Social.

The other eyebrow raising part of this story is the gun store itself. The weapon used in last month's racially motivated mass shooting in Jacksonville was purchased from the same gun shop, Palmetto State Armory. Which is certainly a pretty big coincidence considering the store is two states away from where the shooting occurred.

Hmmm...

Escape Plan "B", perhaps?

If he gets convicted, for any of the charges he faces, and is faced with what would, at his age, be a life sentence behind bars, without the ability to connect to his fans (remember, Trump doesn't really care to read much, so letters wouldn't be his cup of prison tea)....

Would he be likely to consider "exiting the stage" on his own terms?

His Secret Service detail would prevent anyone from doing him the "favor", but would they, could they, realistically, prevent him from "doing himself harm"?

"Better dead than Bubba's "bunk b!tch", right Donny?"

Where are those "Red Flag Laws" now.....?

The ignorance here is astounding

PSA is an online store as well, not just brick and mortar. They also have several physical locations, not just the one

What's next to talk about? Why aren't we talking about what ex president or politician took a dump at a local Wendy's ? The desperation for stupid # to talk about that has no relevance to anything other than hey look at me saying this stupid #. Get a life and learn to bring up substance or an issue that has any real relevance.

What has you so triggered, bucko?

It is a valid news story, if true.

It's marginal at best. He has a 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms, just as you do. What's "triggered" here is people freaking out because he bought a gun.

Just like the law is clear that someone with substance abuse problems cannot purchase a gun, it is also clear the someone under felony indictment cannot purchase a gun.

So if the Feds are going to indict Hunter for his alleged gun crime, then equal application of the law states that Trump should be indicted for his alleged gun crime. With the way the wind is blowing for the courts both cases would probably be thrown out and the laws deemed unconstitutional, but, as the law stands right now, if Trump took possession of the gun he committed a felony.

Or maybe he didn’t.

It’s getting harder to find the truth these days.

Right so the question on the form is answered honestly. Unlike what Hunter did.
This is a question not a law that says he can't buy or possess.

If he answers the question honestly I don't even know that he can be denied?

I call BS. I sold fire-arms and that is not what is on the form! I looked up the form and you are talking out your rear! Must be why you didn't post a link. As for the rest of you claiming this... PUT UP A LINK WITH IT OR SHUT-UP! I looked at the BATF form and it's showing a bunch of liars or just plain ignorance!
