I would say closer to number 3 en.wikipedia.org...:1_FW_F-22_Raptor_participates_in_Red_Flag.jpg

They were a bit lighter looking however. Very fast and the con trail was tight thick and roundish.

Huge Boom / Jets == Sonic Booms

Halos around the sun are also *somewhat* common.

"Burnt"...heck yeah you looked at the sun? Of course you're burnt.

I am still trying to find out the mysterious aspect of what you said you saw.

Perhaps you missed the part about the 'warbling metallic object' that was being converged on by these 5 jets.

Questioning is how we move forward and discover

There are major differences between questions and accusations.

When a person is experiencing something intense and unknown, their minds tend to be occupied with the event.

Go on google and look for "sun halo" or "sun ring".

I saw one of those last year myself, here where I live. It was "huge"...but had nothing to do with Aliens.

I am still shaking from this, I have a terrible feeling that I just watched our technology destroy a craft from another world. 3 hours ago and I am still shaken up. This coming from someone with history deeply embedded in mystery.

Something happened , Antar witnessed it , nobody knows what it was yet but to deny the testimony of a respected and truthful member is not denying ignorance it's embracing it .

Doubtful. And you're still the only person in the whole state who witnessed fighter jets and a halo around the sun...

No I didn't.

She said "looked like a warbling metallic object"...in other words: IT LOOKED LIKE....from a witness statement. It's a difference whether it was in-fact a metallic object or for a layman/laywoman LOOKED/APPEARED LIKE a warbling metallic object.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Trusting someone who offers no proof at all is ridiculous no matter who they are.

Ditto to that. Ignore the negative posts Antar ,it has become a sad habit for some to order proof automatically .

Yeah, as the site used to say Deny Ignorance and just believe people, don't ask for proof.

Sure. Ask for proof. Just don't ask for (the only) proof you find acceptable over, and over, and over and on and on and.... You get the point I'm sure. But if you argue with me I guess you don't, so I will give slightly different versions of the same thing over and over and over...

We get it. Skeptics want pictures. That is the only thing that will prove it them. Iron clad, that-can-only-be-a-space-ship-being-chased-by-fighter-jets-there-is-no-way-it-is-photo-shopped-my-gawd-golly-gee-whilikers-lookit-that-proof. But good lord, there comes a point...

All I can say is there has been a lot of sightings in Missouri last month.

Read the first half dozen posts... I have to say I am sceptical
of the sighting. I just get the wrong idea when people say they
sent " I want to help" thoughts!

So was there any other reports or not?

Otherwise I think it is just another hmm .. day dream!!!

That seems like a bit of a stretch. Why do you say this craft was destroyed? Did you see the fighter planes engage it? fire missiles at it? etc? It's also possible (and far more likely) that you witnessed a training exercise, and the object you thought was a UFO was actually a target drone that was launched specifically for the fighters to shoot down for practice.

Asking for proof is not a bad thing, wrong, disinformation or insulting to the OP regardless of if they have been here a long time or not.

Perception can easily paint what a person thinks they see and maybe Antar believes in UFOs. Maybe all they saw were jets escorting a drone or some other tool.

I am utterly amazed that people here are willing to believe someone just because they have been here a long time.

As I posted previously, I contacted media outlets in the area and they stated that there is quite a lot of air traffic out of Whiteman AFB. Can you confirm this and are used to seeing the jets in your area?

Questioning the event aside, only you know what you saw, so make sure you survive to tell the tale. A flash burn is possible if you witnessed a fire-fight, but you did not mention seeing a blast, only hearing an explosion, so you might have been exposed to phosphorus weaponry. Hypothetically, if we were engaging an advanced platform, the weapon of choice would be white phosphorus, or other high heat explosives rounds. They are banned by the UN, but still highly used by the US, and leave a sticky burning residue that chokes the air. It would explain the obscuration of the sun as well. If you have trouble breathing, you should seek medical attention.

Given that you felt a possible mental connection to the event, a bit of meditation may help with the stress and upset you are feeling, and maybe your intuition could tell you what had happened.

Greenbriar, Arkansas is in Little Rock area, so not very close to Springfield. So this twitter gal said her truck shook? Hmmm...Maybe this 'thing' is heading south?

Regardless, it's been an exciting read, and must have been something to witness!
