I starred your post but have to tell not to give up on us just yet. It is not the average American that you see portrayed in the media circus. We are Not the Politicians nor the Elitists.

Personally, I think Americans are decent people. I just die a little every time I hear 'school shooting' and sure enough, yep it's another American killing children with legally bought guns.

In some ways, it's becoming something of a bad joke - here in England (and before anyone says anything, yes we have our own problems) we think America is the epitome of crazy people and xenophobic mistrust. It's a sad state of affairs when the country that thinks of itself as morally superior to every other country in the world, is actually becoming a laughing stock.

I don't wish to offend, I'm literally only putting my viewpoint across, a little perspective. People aren't afraid of America or jealous of America, we just feel sorry for you guys.

They'll tell you they don't like how Chinese workers are treated while they own a phone made in China and shop at Walmart. By the same token, why should there be a need to place armed 'Sky Marshals' on airline flights? Which our government had in place lickity-split. Quite simply becasue there are (seemingly) increasing numbers of individuals in the world who seek to do harm to innocents because of their deluded intent to rectify perceived injustices. Whether this is rooted in mental health issues or extreme political ideologies is irrelevant. Their motivations are the same. Could be a kid in the US shooting up a school or a 'jihadist' blowing up a market. It is still sociopathic behaviors.

The media is fully culpable in these incidents. They focus on them and the perpetrators revel in that.

A witness interviewed on fox just said that all cell phone communication was disabled after the shooting.

Another thing I find strange about America is the classification of 'criminal' from a 'normal person'. Some of you people seem to think they are mutually exclusive and consist of two different types of human, whereas everyone else just knows that you can become a criminal overnight, completely by accident or on purpose.

Let's say some gun-nut NRA person in good standing, happily married, 2 kids etc decides he's having a bad day, maybe his boss has sacked him, or he's feeling ill or sick or something or not thinking straight or he's had too many pharmaceuticals, then at what point does he become a criminal?

Is he a criminal when he walks into the school with a gun? Or is he only a criminal when he puts that first bullet into the six year old girls face?

The answer is of course the latter, which means every single one of you people defending the right to own a gun (rightly or wrongly) is a potential criminal in the making. You are simply one muscle reflex away from putting all that legally owned ammunition into a child's skull.

Look at all the images of victims and on the scene photos that have been released within minutes or hours of the shooting.

This is what happens when you have an authentic shooting event.

Too late I have been voicing my opinion on this since sandy hook and will continue to to make sure he does not lay down on the job and that he continues to support the Second Amendment and not the copycat events and media frenzy.

I started to post yesterday that my sources had told me that there was going to be at least three more school shootings and a VA hospital shooting of disabled American Vets, but I didn't, thinking that it would be taken apart by ATS because I have no tangible proof. I wish I had, now, and from now on, I will.

The reason, my sources told me, is that the current regime wants total gun, land and resources confiscation, martial law, and total governmental control and, that just being white will get you incarcerated or killed. I guess we will see...

I think this was an argument between a couple of thug-like individuals in a not so savory part of town.....not a mass shooting.

But with all the 2012 "events", this will be hyped to the max.

I have to ask....
