Talk about blind..... He doesn't state any support for Palestinian rockets being fired into Israel or any other violent action from Palestine. He simply shows disappointment and embarrassment at Canadas blind support of Israeli aggression, oppression and their nuclear weapons program.
Just because you don't want your country to support one sides killing does not mean you support the other sides.

On the nuclear topic, I find it very worrying that we are pressuring some countries like N.Korea and Iran to open the doors for full inspection but not Israel, who in my mind are just as much a threat to the safety of the world regarding nuclear war. Don't think anybody should have nuclear weapons, not least countries that have such aggressive posturing as Israel and Iran.

Stephen Harper won the elections fair and square. Too #ing bad most canadians, like americans, vote foolishly on shallow rhetoric and looks rather than substance. Voting for traditional conservatism implies a strong military-industrial complex and support for israel. There are other conservative parties people could vote for BUT #ING OBVIOUSLY they DO NOT get any mainstream support.

The media pushes pro-establishment wants, because they are big private business. Big business is right wing ideology. How often do socialist or communist parties get attention, other than totally negative attention?????

Why do people whine like babies AFTER THEY ENABLE such garbage to CONSTANTLY #ing win????

Why are there so many conservatives in america and canada? Why do you love conservatism so much? Is it the puritan mentality or what?

ill flip if my tax money goes to fund Israel's terror.

Aid should be for natural disasters.

Fix our economy first before giving money to rich countries with nuke capabilities, who spends aid on military advancements.

I do miss the time when we were known as the world's Peace keepers... now it seems we aid genocide.

Well it's funny hearing you talking all about zionists, cause so many people who hate Zion voted for Barack and Biden. Biden made very clear you don't have to be Jewish to be a Zionist. I think he was just making a play for votes though. .

They want the "good ol days" where they can feel superior just because they were born in certain family/class/race.

Well said! Applause.

Fortunately, the OP only speaks for himself or the few and he delusively hope that with post such this, will be able to fool others that Canada supports genocide upon jews.

Let's not forget that the terrorist humanslayers Hamas was 'democratically' elected as elected officials of Palestine and the sucking up to terrorist Hamas PLO leader Abbas that the world voted to recognise, praised Hamas for their recent atrocity of instigating the war and hiding themselves/weapons within Gaza population centre.

Not that I'm disagreeing with you, but where did you get this idea that Palestinians want to eradicate Israel and Jews or anybody else for that matter?

Where did we get the idea? How about the Palestinian Charter itself

Article 15: The liberation of Palestine, from an Arab viewpoint, is a national (qawmi) duty and it attempts to repel the Zionist and imperialist aggression against the Arab homeland, and aims at the elimination of Zionism in Palestine.

Notice especially that last phrase.

Isreal does not equal Zionism
Jews do not equal Zionism

Zionism is an ideology.

Would you rally against an official stance that aims for the elimination of anti-semitism?

Zionism is Israeli nationalism, plain and simple.

Many left wingers DO SUPPORT israel. BUT it is CONDITIONAL support. NOT unconditional!!!!!

Likewise many communists give 100% support to palestine, which is also wrong.

Unless you are a palestinian or zionist, WHY should anyone be a fanatic? Why do people like to pick sides? It is mindboggling!

Harper got 39% of the vote. Last time I checked that wasn't a majority. Just saying is all. So 61% of Canadians did not vote for him.

Well, people were divided between Liberals and NDP.

No way that scum could have won other way.

I voted for NDP only because i know how Liberals worked, i knew how conservatives worked, but didn't know how NDP worked and wanted to give them a chance, and it seems most people did. #phen Harper took this opportunity and came out top.

No. I'm perfectly sane, thank you. I'm not going to derail CE's thread further with my personal opinions on Canadian political parties. However, I vehemently disagree with you, and think you are wrong.

I assume you are a Obama fan then.

Obama is to the USA what the NDP is to Canada.

As far as I know you guys have a parliamentary system, but is it porpotional representation or winner takes bonus seats in parliament? Look at israel that has porpotional representation and has religious parties co-rulling the government.

Bonus seats is unfair.

Well, people were divided between Liberals and NDP.

No way that scum could have won other way.

Since your not good with math, let me explain it to you.

-If the vote was split 50/50 between the NDP and Libs, the Torys would have gotten 0.

-If the vote was split evenly in three ways, the NDP would have garnered 33.3% of the vote, Grits 33.3 and Torys 33.3

However, as you and I both know, the Torys won a MAJORITY of the popular vote. Please tell me how vote splitting lead to the demise of either the Grits or the NDP? Please do.

As NewAgeman said, and surprisingly, as so little of you have the historical knowledge of, Zionism is Jewish nationalism.

What do you think is conveyed by the word "Israel"? Have you read the Hebrew Bible?

The people in Gaza VOTED in Hamas so they support the Terrorist and murders actions of Hamas and they should get the same fate. Elections have Consequences.

In the same spirit as CE as shown here, we the people of Canada do not support our government's position.

Nor do Palestinians of sound mind support the terrorist organization known as HAMAS.

I agree that is all it is, BUT it has grave consequences when it comes to treating arab palestinians as third class citizens. For every 200 palestinians killed only 1 jew gets killed. Even one is too many, but we have to apply rational and porpotional thinking here.

In order for one religious ethnic group to have all the land, that means the other ethnic group needs to leave or at the very least be treated like dirt. This is why zionism is dangerous. Normally I would not mind so much, but over-sensationalism and political alliances with the super-powers can create a very fragile enviroment for the global community.
