I lived in Canada for quite some time, and I love the country and it's people. Wish I could go back. Stephen Harper is a disgrace. However, take solace in the fact that you didn't actually vote for him. In fact, the only people who voted for him live in Calgary. You voted for your member of parliament.

I know how you feel, being American. It's awful, here's hoping the people get their governments back someday.

There, OP made VERY clear his beef with the Canadian govt.

OP claims he acknowledges Hamas - the democratically elected folks in Palestine is bad.

Cananda has refused to vote in support of recognition of the Palestine supposedly 'democratically' elected govt, thanks to the Hamas policy of death to jews, which is in line and in agreement with OP's stance.

Remember, that vote has NOTHING STATED about presumed Israeli 'atrocities'. It was all about palestine recognition

So what is OP's problem? Isnt the Canadian govt representing OP's acknowledgement of Hama atrocities and thus the rejection for palestinian recognition?

Unless of course, he clearly has an agenda here to con ATS members with his crocodile tears card, so typical of islam-misused terrorism supporters.

I Can't watch the video in my current establishment as well.

But no peace until the Hamas are gone? Ok i admit they are bad guys as well.

But once the Hamas are gone, The land is for picking, Israel could easily clear the area of Palestine, because no resistance, whether it was a good one or not.

Palestinian people will die more often than now.

wow, Apology for what?? that we back our Allies, like any other loyal friend should do.. It's like most of us would back up any best friend, some of them do bad things, but we still back them up. I'm loyal to my friends, if they ever needed me for what ever i'd back them up because i'm LOYAL. It's same thing with Canada, we have some friends they're not the best, but they're our friends and we are loyal to them..I'm from Canada and I'm not sorry for anything, I'm actually saying sorry for this guys post, Canada is a LOYAL country and always will be and we will always stand behind our allies..

I find it interesting that people need to make every issue so polarized and that when someone takes a stance in the middle ground eg, supporting Palestine for humanitarian reasons, and condemning Israel for its negative actions, they can't believe that such a stance exists.

People always turn this discussion into two distinct polar opposites, your either with Palestine or Israel....my thoughts are why not both?
