I've never had an issue with anonymity, and have always used a pic of myself as my avatar, so it doesn't bother me, but I think that those who do wish to remain anonymous for whatever reason will probably give this thread a miss or pm their pic to the OP, so it doesn't really matter and to be honest, I don't think the OP has any nefarious reasons for requesting pics other than to attempt to give people a personalised reading.

I'm sure you're write, but just for arguments sake i'll pick you up on a couple of points... You may well use a pic of yourself as your avatar, however very few people here do, yet many who do not are responding to this request...

Secondly, to pm the pics to the OP is (potentially) no less dangerous than to publish them in this thread. If the OP is really an intelligence gathering operation then you just sent a pic of yourself to the CIA, or whoever indulges in such work.

Just look at the front page of ATS - the headlines about governments who want to class ATSers as potential terrorists. True or not, it is mystifying that this OP is currently riding high on that same front page with many of this paranoid bunch freely emailing their likeness on a whim

The CIA doesn't have access to anyone's picture...whenever they find a random person's picture, though, they're in trouble.

I could care less if my picture went viral. It is who I am and if you see me on the street, well we have a start for a great conversation. Thank you to Sarra for this post.
