Good luck folks.
Many, (the survivors), will have to return to nature in the near future though for their own good.
The stOrms have only just begun; much to follow.

Did anyone notice those cute little sand birms they made on the beach. lOl.
They really have/had No idea what to expect or perhaps it was an inside joke.
Prayer works with a little faith.
Love out.

Drumrolls on the beach tonight.
Don't want to be late.

OK. Call CNN. The wind has officially reached category "Nerve Racking". I am calling it at 07:53pm EST.

Stuff is flying up against the house. It's dark as heck so I cannot see what's going on. Just waiting for the trees outside to come aknockin' and install some new sky lights.

Nerve-wracking indeed.

Southwestern New York State....

Rain is pelting, wind has really picked up and is whistling.

The hurricane--or remnants of--are due to arrive near this area at 2pm on Wed----so I can't imagine it worse than this....or well, yes I can...

northeastern PA here...wind and rain is pretty intense but not as bad as i thought it would be. Power is still on so that is a good thing. Im all prepared with all the essentials ill need incase we do end up without power, celly's are charging and I also got my ipod charging and a bottle of vodka. If the power goes out its time to light some candles, listen to some good music and catch a nice buzz!!!!

Hope everyone is safe and sound!

8:01 PM here an hour west of Harrisburg. The wind is still strong as ever and the hurricane clouds are supposedly going to be over us within the next hour or two and then linger for a long time. I can't imagine it could get any worse than this even though I know that it will. This is honestly terrifying and I'm beginning to really worry about my family back home. I'm hoping that my grandmother went to her neighbor's house to stay instead of in her own home, she's just not safe there. I still have power but I do not know for how much longer. Gods speed to everyone and good luck.

Whoa. The whole house keeps rumbling like an earthquake. But its the wind.
The wind is loud out there.
(Southeast PA)

Per CNN the storm is now a "cold" storm, and is bringing snow - in WV right now.

50mph winds in southern Maine.

Crazy I can only imagine how bad the winds are towards the south.

Sidings and stuff coming off of houses.

Everyone stay safe.

You're totally worrying me right now. My best friend is in Westchester and I texted her for a status update hours ago and haven't gotten an answer.

Hope you're all safe - any chance of a photo (if you can take it safely, don't hurt yourself or anything) or a video? For those of us not in America.

Be interesting to experience it from our side.
