I'm a very analytical in thinking with a "concrete" oriented mindset (vs that of abstract thinking).

That is a clear definition of a materialist.

However, I mentioned that I've been reading material about occult practices and I just googled the author of a book I find fascinating. Well, I'm not shocked but she married a 32nd degree Freemason.

Might have had some interesting conversations, those two.

Ugh, no its not.

Materialism is defined as "a tendency to consider material possessions and physical comfort as more important than spiritual values".

Analytical is defined as "relating to or using analysis or logical reasoning".

Concrete thinking is "mental processes characterized by literalness and the tendency to be bound to the most immediate and obvious sense impressions, as well as by a lack of generalization and abstraction."

Nothing about being analytical and concrete thinking means I'm a materialist.

Indeed, what you describe is a materialist. You have nothing to be ashamed of. You want logical "material" answers to life's question and cannot believe anything you can't hold, see and touch.

If this is not the case, your earlier description about yourself is wrong. You are not rational at all.
I'm both, like a flick of a switch. I see two polar opposites that are both true; like all things exist in opposition.

Anyway, I'll get no answers from you (if you have any). I'm reading more and more about the 32nd Freemasons involvement in the occult. Maybe FM's aren't all bad. I have an open mind.

Watch the vid I just posted and think about the ramifications on this.

I'm a very spiritual person and believe in a lot I cannot see, but I'm still a very logical person when it comes to debating. Analytical doesn't mean materialist. You are confusing two different things.

I am both, so I can accept your position however there is no gray area. This is my opinion and it goes along with many varied things whereupon you happen upon the two polar opposites. Perfect / imperfect is my favorite example. Today everything is perfect and tomorrow nothing is perfect. Both statement are completely true. I don't believe one thing is perfect and another imperfect, using the same outlook. All or nothing in that case. I don't know if I'm making sense.

Not all Masons are good. Not all Masons are bad. There is Light Freemasonry and Dark Freemasonry. The same goes for the Rosicrucians, Hermetic tradition, Kabalah etc. It depends on whether they're using esoteric knowledge to elevate humanity or to enslave humanity. You don't have to be a Mason to be evil. You don't have to be a Jew to be a Zionist. All the orders have a dark side and people work together in order to achieve the enslavement of man. all the orders have a light side that is more concerned with freeing man. If you were a Mason, if you had the right psychological characteristics (psychopathic), you might get pulled into the circle and groomed for a higher position. They don't ask everyone. The same goes for all the priestly orders.

Judge a human by their intentions and heart rather than particular wisdom path.

It's good you've realized there's more going on than you thought there was. It's such an ignorant thing to name call all Masons and deem them evil just because they're Masons. I've heard it and seen it a million times. I never pay any attention to people who do that. Why? They're silly. It's a South Park script if you add a few expletives to your accusation.

More than that FM sound like jews, hell I know they are. They make sure they get the top jobs and if someone has to go down they'll pick a Christian first and foremost.

If you are a Christian then they have set the bar rather low to tolerate your overt bigotry.

You guys are correct in what you say about your craft being harmless because I honestly think you believe it and I apologize for calling everyone liars when it's probable that you guys are given only enough occult knowledge to get your feet wet. I'm sure most people don't care to read or understand the mysteries so no one brings them "above" masonry.

No need to apologize, no Mason is going to carry anger against you. You obvious distaste of masons is your own suffering you create for yourself. I wish well and I hope you do not carry this hatred your whole life.

But a backhanded apology like the above quote is ridiculous.

My I recommend acting out the love and compassion directed by whatever religion you follow instead of wasting energy constantly posting about something you are ignorant of.

Best of everything to you, Sir.

I think this is important to note on this thread. This is an excerpt from William Coopers book, Behold a Pale Horse. Between pages 78-80, he has some startling revelations about Freemasonry. Here they are:

"Probably the most notorious Freemason lodge is the P2 lodge in Italy.
This group has been implicated in everything from bribery to assassina-
tions. P2 is directly connected to the Vatican, the Knights of Malta, and to
the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. It is powerful and dangerous. The P2
lodge has succeeded in infiltrating the Vatican and has scored a coup of
tremendous significance: the Pope, John Paul II, has lifted the ban against
Freemasonry. Many high-level members of the Vatican are now Free-
masons.
I tell you now that Freemasonry is one of the most wicked and terrible
organizations upon this earth. The Masons are major players in the strug-
gle for world domination. The 33rd Degree is split into two. One split
contains the core of the Luciferian Illuminati and the other contains those
who have no knowledge of it whatsoever."

-William Cooper Behold a Pale Horse p.78

"Most members of the Freemasons are not aware that the Illuminati
practices what is known as "secrets within secrets," or organizations within
organizations. That is one purpose of initiation. I cannot excuse any of the
members, however, for anyone who joins a society without knowing
EVERYTHING about the organization is indeed a fool. Only those at the
top who have passed every test truly know what the Masons are hiding,
thus rendering it impossible for anyone outside to know much at all about
the group. What does that say about new members or those who are
already members but do not know the ultimate secrets? It tells me that
fools abound. Unlike authors who out of fear have acted as apologists for
the Freemasons, I decline to absolve them of responsibility and guilt. The
freemasons, like everyone else, are responsible for the cleanliness of their
home. The occupant of a secret house within a secret house within a secret
house cannot clean if he cannot see the number of rooms or what they
contain. Their house is a stinking cesspool. Look to the Masons for the
guilty party if anything happens to me. I believe that they have murdered
In the past and that they will murder in the future."

-William Cooper Behold a Pale Horse p. 79

"I hope to show that most modern secret societies and especially those
that practice degrees of initiation — and that is the key — are really one
society with one purpose. You may call them whatever you wish — the
Order of the Quest, the JASON Society, the Roshaniya, the Qabbalah, the
Knights Templar, the Knights of Malta, the Knights of Columbus, the
Jesuits, the Masons, the Ancient and Mystical Order of Rosae Crucis, the
Illuminati, the Nazi Party, the Communist Party, the Executive Members of
the Council on Foreign Relations, The Group, the Brotherhood of the
Dragon, the Rosicrucians, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the
Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg Group, the Open Friendly Secret
Society (the Vatican), the Russell Trust, the Skull & Bones, the Scroll & Key,
the Order — they are all the same and all work toward the same ultimate
goal, a New World Order.

Many of them, however, disagree on exactly who will rule this New
World Order, and that is what causes them to sometimes pull in opposite
directions while nevertheless proceeding toward the same goal. The
Vatican, for instance, wants the Pope to head the world coalition. Some
want Lord Maitreya to head the New World Order. Lord Maitreya is the
front runner, I believe, since witnesses say he was present on the ship at
Malta with Bush, Gorbachev, and the ten regional heads of the New World
Order. ''Approximately 200 dignitaries from around the world attended a
major conference initiated by Maitreya in London on April 21 and 22, 1990.
Representatives of governments (including the USA), members of royal
families, religious leaders and journalists, all of whom had met with
Maitreya previously, attended the conference." Quote from "Prophecy
Watch" column of Whole Wheat No. 8, Minneapolis.

Someone has also spent an awful lot of money announcing his pres-
ence. The Pope will have to approve him if Maitreya is selected, however,
and that would fulfill the Bible prophecy in the Book of Revelation that
states that the first beast will be given his power by Rome. If you can
interpret Revelation as I can, then you know that the Pope will ultimately
win out and will reign as the second beast.

In 1952 an alliance was formed, bringing them all together for the first
time in history. The Black Families, the Illuminati (the Order), the Vatican,
and the Freemasons now work together to bring about the New World
Order."

-William Cooper Behold a Pale Horse p.80

People think Cooper was nuts, but I like the guy. He spoke his mind and he knew a few things about how the government operates.

And he paid for it.

I admire Dion Fortune's writing although I don't agree with all she writes. She is at times insightful and very influential in some occult circles, especially Wicca as Doreen Valiente was inspired by two of her works of fiction.

However, Ms. Fortune isn't qualified to comment on Freemasonic ritual because she was NOT a Freemason! The ritual she describes is one of a few Masonic public rituals, laying the cornerstone (others are installation of officers and funeral rites). So what you are saying is, I don't know anything for fact but here is someone else that doesn't know anything for fact who agrees with me.

Every step you have taken on this planet has been in a Masonic juristiction.

Ok now that is going way too far.
