Yes she does. She has been to the White House for meetings several times. She was active in the Sandra Fluke fiasco also (her same company and friends).

And your timing of events may be slightly off ..... this thread and the linked story was posted long before the Dem scurry and apologies and distancing.

And for Rosen to go after a woman who has had medical problems is ironic for "the party of the people".

I would never be so bold as to expect Mitt Romney to have a callous upon his hands or an unkempt finger nail, but I do not consider buying companies with other peoples money and breaking them up to sell for profit as successful. The only difference between Romney and Madoff was the legality of the manner in which they hustled people for money.

Steve Jobs was "Successful"...he built something. Romney bought companies, laid off people by the hundreds, broke the companies up and then sold the pieces all at huge profit for himself. If that is what we want in a POTUS then what does that say about the furture of America?

I think it's hilarious how well the GOP is deflecting from their own strategy

I mean, think about it:

1) The Democrats haven't introduced a single bill that takes away women's rights. They have Fluke who stood up for women's rights, and now this pundit who only said that Mrs Romney isn't well placed to asses economic troubles of women...which is the truth. She never dissed women working at home!

2) The GOP on the other hand wants to cut women's reproductive rights, legislate porn (according to Santorum), and are openly against equal pay for women. They aren't just saying all that, they are actively introducing legislation!! And during all that time they claim to be for "small government"

It's the oldest trick in the book...deflection!

Let us also not forget the Steel company in Indiana that Bayne built. Sure, they built a company...created jobs...sounds great huh? Like "hey this is just what we need!"

Here's the kicker. In order to build there, Bayne demanded gigantic municipal tax allowances...demanded the locals foot the bill for the necessary infrastructure to support the mill (millions of dollars to prep the site)...this caused a substantial increase in local taxes....

Romney says the Government doesn't create jobs...but this town had to belch out millions (which was collected with taxes) just to get the Bayne corporation to consider putting the mill in their town...Steel Dynamics I believe is the name....but don't quote me on that. So...no....Gov didn't create jobs...the people did...WITH THEIR TAX DOLLARS...that Bayne sucked up like a coke fiend.

He is the most pathetic hypocrite I have ever heard speak....he will get what is due him....just watch.

The GOP is actively campaigning to take away women's rights. So please, show me an example of the Democrats taking away women's rights! I can name several from the top of my head when it comes to the GOP:

1) Reproductive rights
2) Equal pay
3) Choice of work

The fact that she was Obama's mentor made her feel self-conscious. She often recounts how she resisted when Barack asked her out, saying in an interview that she felt it would be "tacky" if they started to date because they were "the only two black people" at the firm.

Here's her exact comment about Mrs Romney:

His wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She's never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school and why do we worry about their future.

How exactly is that an attack on moms??? She's merely stating that Mrs Romney never had to struggle like other women, which is the TRUTH! She talking both about working women and stay at home moms here, because BOTH are going through troubling times right now. Mrs Romney ISN'T, and that's why she said she's probably not in a good position to know how those women feel. Again, it all makes perfect sense and taking it as an attack on moms is ridiculous.

It's a just a way for the GOP to deflect from their VERY active campaign of taking away women's rights.

Honestly, I am not a Democrat....I am not a Republican. I however joined into this train-wreck conversation because it is nothing more than a convenient distraction and a desperate attempt for the Romney's to cause some strife in the masses. This is what I hate....I hate seeing our population divided over stupid shiz that doesn't have any substance to it at all...it is 100% emotional response based and doesn't fix or address a thing.

I barked my points in my last post about the hypocritical nature of Romney's Bayne Capitol Corporation and what they did with the steel company in Indiana...it is indefensable...but the lame ass MSM - Never talks about it!!! I wonder why that is? well...Because it is so ugly it will end this race before it ever gets started and they will have no crap to fling around? Romney should be crucified (figuratively) for this.

I am getting kinda tired of this particular stupid conversation and others like it....people need to open their eyes and their ears....the MSM feeds you what they want you to hear to get a calculated response....this IS A FACT. You are not receiving news...you are receiving...opinion...spattered with fact. And they know exactly how your hypnotized brain will respond....

Do some homework...when and if you do....you will come to the inevitable conclusion....

Both parties suck and have been playing you for a sucker for years...you will go through several stages of pain and denial and eventually come out the other side as I did....realizing it has to stop now....the two party system is another way of describing the two wings of the same Bird of Prey.

Oh, I completely agree, both parties suck. You can criticize Obama for a ton...but women's rights isn't one of those points. Obama handled this really badly, as he often does. There was nothing to defend, she didn't attack moms in the first place...but Obama being all in campaign mode took the easy route and simply through someone under the bus. Pretty weak tbh

In the end, it doesn't matter who's in power, they're all bought at this point. Until money is removed from politics, you won't ever get a long term sustainable approach that's good for the nation.

I think a big step forward would be to force NEWS channels to pay a fine every time they lie on a news show (they can still do it on opinion shows, but would have to label them as such). At least that way the population wouldn't get dumbed down systematically and could form an honest opinion.

Anyway...

Claiming the Democrats are on a war against women is incredibly ironic given the legislation the GOP is pushing for

Nobody said anything about taking away rights.

Hilary Rosen knew what she was saying.

She has been in the business for a long time.
