Don't forget that everyone else in the Democratic party has backed away from these comments.

Attacking motherhood during an election year is bad strategy.

It doesn't help that Bill Maher is advancing the narrative by ALSO attacking motherhood.

All of these scandals are taking a toll on Obama.

Gallup Poll today : Romney 48% : Obama 43%

It's actually Romney 47% and Obama 45%, but whatever...who cares reading polls correctly, right?

Either way, it's pretty meaningless. Romney's ahead by a tiny margin, but only just recently. Why? Because the people who take the polls aren't bombarded by a ton of anti-Romney adds anymore. His primary competitors have pretty much stopped or are out of the race...and Obama hasn't even started hammering Romney yet.

In short, that poll is pretty much useless

The GOP should really stop then.
I for one agreed with what was said when it was said in full context. It had nothing to do with devaluing motherhood but was all about the chasm between stay at home moms and being active in the job market and having a greater understanding of the economy by taking part in it in a more active role. But hey, as long as we are all pretending Ted Nugent does not exist still.

Bill Maher has added to the War on Motherhood.

That is a bad strategy.

Bill Maher is the guy that gave Obama $1 million.

He attacked motherhood. Now David Axelrod is running away from him.
