The significance of the number 42 is that it is the number of subplanes of the six planes of consciousness above the physical plane - the physical universe. On a serious note, if we are the observers, are we part of the game like a program, or the player? When I go to sleep..why would I need to? Is that the game turning off, and if so, in death does my consciousness get tossed into the recycle bin?

I'm going to be pissed at whoever created this simulation. Perma-death is lame.

For now and the forseeable future the equations that contain the code are theoretical. You have a theory based on a theory based on theoretical principals. Trying to analyze or acceptance of any of the code as fact at this point is ridiculous. If you keep applying theoretical layer on theoretical layer you wind up with a mess.

Intention seems to have an effect on this underlying code. This is an experiment that I did using crystal growth solution in different containers similar to Maseru Emotos messages in water experiment only these do not melt once formed.

This was the first thing that occurred to me. Maybe there is some truth to these authors that make claims about optimism being able to change a persons entire destiny and such. You know, like "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne and "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. Those were the first two that came to mind. "Think and Grow Rich" is a very popular book among Rastafarians. I've known a few Rastafarians, and they are very optimistic people who don't let anything wear them down. People like this are always in perfect health and don't seem to have as many struggles as other people. So maybe there is some truth to this?

Actually, what you wrote may be true. It seems that inside a black hole, physics as we know it, breaks down. So, black holes may be those edge cases that the programmer has made an adhoc decision on how to deal with, instead of making a law.

I'd also like to add to this thread that the collapse of the wave function seems a lot like 3d graphics backface culling: in both cases, what is to not be observed is not rendered.

So the simulator that runs the universe might have a resource limitation.
